Would never use Champion for replacement windows. Spent approx. $34,000 over the years replacing every window in my house. Within months, the caulking around the windows on the outside looked terrible with uncleanable mold. It is an embarrassment. Champion was called and did nothing about the problem.
I have a contract with them that was breached. 3 months later, after contacting the sales representative and the customer department more than 10 times (literally), I have not received a call, update or even an apology from anyone. The representatives always seem annoyed that I call them to obtain an update. They already charged me 1/2 the price and would not install my windows or reimburse my money.
If you plan on using this company please read their BBB complaints before you do so. The only reason they have any stars on Google is because the sales person gets you to write a review during the sales process. They have 443 complaints on the BBB in the last 12 mos and one of those is mine. I have been dealing with this company for the last 9 mos on just trying to get a few windows installed. In which I have already paid more than half the money. No one from this company will call you back. Just get the run around every time you call them. We did get a hold of someone in corporate in which they asked us to send them a detailed doc of everything that happened and assured us someone would get back to us. That was 2 mos ago and still no word. Our last resort is leaving comments on every website possible and contacting our attorney to hopefully get a resolution. There was only one person that was actually trying to help us and get things done - He is no longer with the company. 9 months is too long to have nothing. Please stay away and please read the BBB complaints before you buy from this company.
My Husband and I installed a 4 Season Patio Room, Siding and Shutters in 2010. We had nothing but problems with the installation. In addition, we were told we had a Lifetime Warranty. I called yesterday to report my Shutters are faded. I got a call today stating, there is no warranty on fading shutters and advised to paint them. If we wanted to paint our home, we wouldn't have spent more than 50k to Champion on Siding, Shutters and a Patio Room. So Dissapointing....
Had all my windows replaced by Champion several years ago. Right away had 3 replaced because of scratches and 4 screens had to be replaced. Since then I’ve had 2 windows replaced because the seal had failed. Now I have another window that has failed which is why I am finally writing this review. I called to have them come look at it 2 months ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I just spent 15 minutes on hold and gave up. I hope I can get it replaced soon, but who knows. By the way, each window they replace will cost you $100.00. Also, just know that in the winter you will get condensation at the bottom of the windows.Had I known then what I know now I would pass on Champion.
Really if I could give this company less than a “1” I’d do so. I wond go into too much detail of the numerous fiascos, some involving their firing of an incompetent crew and sending yet another incompetent one. Bottom line.. after spending nearly $100,000 on our home, we find out the siding was incorrectly installed AND,consequently, we have roof and plywood rotting. Champion came out, inspected the damage and agreed it was incorrectly installed. Since then, TWO months ago, we are STILL waiting for Champion to honor their warranty. Very, very disappointed and angry.
