I Live in Oregon Ohio had door installation done nothing but problems I paid 3800 dollars for a non working door called and told them what was going on and they promise to fix problem they scheduled to come out 3 different times and never showed buyer beware Poor customer service poor installation on both the management team and install
Came in February or March 2021 for replacement windows in my house. It's almost July ....the only thing I can get from the rude reps that answer the phone is....I'll have someone to give you a call. Well they've been calling since May....Riddle me that.
I posted a review on 3/29/21. Champion Windows replied to my review but did nothing to improve the situation. On April 27, 2021, I received an email that someone responded to my review. They put-"Trish, we want to sincerely apologize for your negative experience with us. We want to make things right. Please call us in our national customer care office at 513-327-7338 at your earliest convenience. We look forward to hearing from you” I contacted the number and spoke to many different representatives, explaining the situation and being transferred to the proper department and people. The last representative I spoke to gave me Brandon’s direct number (manager for South Bend). I spoke to Brandon regarding the unsatisfactory customer service we received from Champion and he stated he would contact Mike (the window installation manager for South Bend) regarding the last two windows in my order. The conversation was a bother to him basically and he questioned how I got his cell phone in which I told him from Wendy who sent you an email to advise of why I would be calling you. Brandon explained he doesn't have time to go through all his emails, and he went on to explain how many installs they do a week and how busy he is. Brandon said he would research my order issues and that I need to remind him to call me the next day so he doesn't forget because he will be busy in the morning with meetings. I explained to him that it truly isn't my responsibility to remind him to call me, and I told him that I am tired of being forgotten by Champion. Brandon didn’t follow up the next day, as he said he would tell us if he contacted Mike and what the next step would be. Mike called to make the appointment for the last two rush order windows, he made no attempt to apologize to me for the service I had received and didn’t seem concerned at all that it had taken this long to complete our order (which is going on close to a year). I informed him I feel I do not owe anything to Champion. He said that he didn't know how that would work and would check on it--He didn’t follow up to let me know anything regarding this. I contacted Brandon June 3, 2021 and he stated he received an email stating we weren’t going to pay Champion for the last two windows. I told him my reasoning. I stated that throughout this process we have been forgotten, and the time that it has taken (when originally quoted 8-10 weeks) and that this was a mistake made by Champion, for not measuring the two windows correctly and I feel we do not owe for Champion’s mistake. After this call, Mike Donnell (area installation manager for South Bend) contacted me and left me a message for me to contact him to get this resolved. I called Mike back and told him I had spoken with Brandon and he was not helpful and was too busy to help me. I told Mike the whole story and experience I’ve received from Champion. All he did was quote store policy to me and said he wasn’t able to give any type of discount per the contract. Mike stated that since we signed the contract ‘Date of Sale’ that we were still obligated to pay and that he was sorry for the experience we’ve received. I told him what I had stated to Brandon, that this is Champion's mistake, not ours; we didn't measure the windows wrong. If they would have been measured correctly in the first place in December, all would have been fine. So I feel I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake - especially since it has taken them over six months to make two windows (that was supposedly put on a ‘rush order’ in December). Nobody has contacted us once regarding it, I usually have to make the constant phone calls and get transferred to proper departments to figure out what the status of my order is. All Mike had to say was ‘there is nothing he can do and there is literally no wiggle room and because of the contract we would be required to pay the remaining balance.’The next day, I called the corporate office, and I was transferred to a voicemail and left a message. Kelly called me back right away and was very nice and sincere. I have never heard back from her. I received a voicemail from Mike (district manager) about what Brandon told him, that I wanted to speak to him. I am disappointed and upset by Champion and the ‘customer service’ I have received throughout this ordeal. I told him that I never asked Brandon to speak with someone else. He just never called me back like he said he would the next day. I explained to him that I called corporate and spoke to someone of how I was treated by Brandon and throughout this whole experience, which will be a year soon. I am working with a person from corporate at this time, as well as writing a letter to the CEO, Todd Dickson, to share with him my entire experience of lack of service from Champion and I will make sure I put in the letter the statement "there is no wiggle room. Wrote the letter & No response.
Next to Lowes this is the worst Company ever. Called them to get an estimate on replacing the windows in my Mobile Home and the lady said sure we can. Would you like to set up an appointment for a free in home estimate. We arranged for the rep to be at my home at 9 am last Saterday. Called me the Tue before to confirm. All set. The guy that was scheduled to come out calls me Saturday and states you have a mobile home and that my 4.5 inch walls aren't thick enough for the windows. He said no single wide mobile home has 4.5 inch walls. Cancels the appointment. On Monday I get a Text from the same person that set up the appointment telling the man was wrong and would no longer represent the company and they would like to reschedule my appointment. Set for noon today. Confirmation email and text done. Today the person coming to do the estimate did not even bother calling just texted and said we do not do mobile jomes so your appointment is canceled. I truly recommend everyone read through all the Reviews before using this Company. Because in my opinion it is one sorry excuse for a Company.
A deposit was given for replacement window 11/20/20 it is now 6/3/21 and no window. They will not refund the deposit. They said I can cancel the order but they will charge 30% restock fee. I did not cause the problem. They did try to install wrong window they new it was the wrong window but sent the install crew out with it hoping it would not be noticed
My experience with Champion Window Manufacturing & Supply Company, unfortunately, has not been a good one. In fact, I am conflicted. I had two projects with Champion, and each was handled in entirely different ways. I contracted with Champion for vinyl siding and replacement windows at the same time. The siding installation started first and has been a nightmare. A scheduler from Champion named Justin called to schedule a date and time for the siding installation to begin. The siding materials were delivered on that date but no installers showed up. Two days later, one installer showed up, told me he did not have any tools and that the tools were on another truck but the truck would not start. He left.Once the siding installation did start and was finished, I had an issue with how part of the trim work was done. The installers had actually cut holes in the trim! So, weeks later the scheduler, Justin, showed up at my home and I showed him what the installers had done. He agreed that it was a problem. He took pictures of the area and told me he would send someone out the next week to fix the problem. Three weeks have gone by now and no-one from Champion has been out to correct the problem. As a customer who spent a lot of money for this siding, I feel betrayed and disgusted by Champion's Siding Division.On the other hand, the replacement windows installation went better than I expected. The windows team that came to my home were very polite, personable, and professional. They called me to set up an installation time and date. They kept their word and showed up on time and they finished the installation of all 14 windows in one day. I could hardly believe the night and day difference between their professionalism and the lack thereof of the siding installation. I am very satisfied with the replacement windows installations, but my experience of "Justin" and the siding installation has me giving Champion an overall unfavorable recommendation.I will never contract with Champion again and will strongly advise others to not do so either because of people like this Justin character who take customers for granted. As a retired, fixed income consumer, Customer Service is an incredibly important part of an expensive home improvement project for me and Champion Window Manufacturing & Supply Company’s Customer Service, for me, has been pathetic.James C.Silverton, Ohio
We have been waiting for over 3 weeks for someone to come measure and we keep getting the runaround, it didn't stop them from contacting the finance company and start taking payments! I'm going to tell my 2500 contacts never to use this company!
