I had 17 windows installed in my home and over all they look great. Of the 17 windows only 6 of the window sills were covered with the aluminum trim. I have contacted the sales person several times and sent pictures of the other windows. The sales person said he sent the pictures and information to his manager and service coordinator, it has been over a month and I still haven't heard from anyone. I have had several neighbors inquire about my windows and I told them I could not recommend Champion windows due to the fact that they have not responded to my complaints. Champion windows did not do a follow up on the installation of the windows to see how the installation went and as a customer if I were satisfied and if I had any issues or concerns about the installation.
Good afternoon. Recently, we were having new carpet installed in our sunroom. When the old carpet was pulled up, the installers noticed a soft spot in the corner of the floor and had to stop the installation Our sunroom was installed by Champion in 2002. I called three weeks ago for someone to come and investigate. The person that I spoke to from the corporate was very nice and told me that she would mark the matter urgent due to the water damage. That was three weeks ago. We still have the problem and each time I call there is no response from the local Champion Window company in our area. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of service as we are still waiting, along with the other company to get our new carpet installed.
Bait and switch. Very poor communication. Gave them $4800 deposit in early May with promise of installation in 4-6 weeks. The salesman told me the basic windows came with the grid I needed. A week later someone came out to do the final measure. Two weeks after that I was told that the grid I needed wasn’t available in the windows I purchased. I would have to upgrade the windows and pay more money. Based on my original contract I proposed that they give me the upgraded windows but at the same price I signed for. They refused. It is now almost 4 weeks into the 4-6 week period between order and installation. Now they say it will be another 4-6 weeks due to the “changes”. I made no changes. They did make several mistakes and took way too long to let me know the problem. Summer is upon us and I need decent windows with screens. Trying to negotiate with them now. Wish me luck. I will raise the rating if the service is improved.
I’ve been waiting 7 months for them to replace the broken glass on my patio door. I paid $100 “service call”. They did come out in March but they came with a window not door...brilliant. Although I’ve been very nice, they won’t return calls. I want my money back. Guess I’ll have to sue them to find someone who can fix my patio door. 7 months is a long time to wait.
15 years ago, I contracted with Champion for windows, doors and a sunroom. While I have been satisfied with windows and doors, the sunroom is an issues. Having spent 16K, I expected a quality product. Recently we found a soft spot in the floor. As we investigated further we had found a leak in the external seam. They have ben here 4 times, and have not been able to fix the leak. They sent an adjuster from their insurance company who estimated damage to about $1300 to repair the damage to the floor. To date I cannot even receive a return phone call or have my inquiries answered by corporate. I am so disappointed in this company, and am now evaluating my options. This battle has been ongoing for 7 months. According to their warranty, this repair should have been covered. I would not recommend this company if you are considering them.
We had Johnny Noonan come out and sold us siding, he was very patient knowledgeable and professional. It was almost like he knew what we were going to ask before we asked it--Which sowed us he knows the product very well. I would definitely recommend Champion for service and may use them in the future for further projects. Anyone looking for referrals from Champion should ask for Mr. Johnny Noonan to come visit with them.
I would like to give a -10 star review! 8 months ago we ordered 2 windows to be repaired under the warranty. 6 times they sent out the wrong size. Only after contacting the BBB did they finally come to the conclusion they needed to make the correct size to fit the frame they put in. They told BBB and us they would be on priority and arrive in 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 4 weeks and still no window! We will be surprised if it fits when it gets here! Will never use Champion again and will never recommend them.
