Review Time
I have called Champion 4 times since late September, (2020) regarding a service issue. Each time they say someone will get back to me within 48 hours, each time they fail to respond. I now have three doors with problems and can't get this company to service my "lifetime warranty". I would say it's terrible service, but I can't even get them to provide a service. Absent would be the most appropriate term. A fraudulent "lifetime" warranty, would also be accurate since you can't get them to call you back.12/24 Update - after posting this they finally called to schedule an appointment. They came out and fixed one issue and we are waiting approximately 8 weeks for a door that needs to be replaced. I will update once this service is complete. Upgrading to 2 stars since they finally showed up.
I ordered a window replacement August 3rd due to a broken seal, and was told approximately 6 weeks, but it might be longer due to COVID. After waiting for 12 weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my replacement and was told the items were in stock and I was scheduled for November 20 as it was the first available day. Come November 20, the installer shows up TO MEASUE the windows as he did not have them in stock. After making several calls, I was told they were in the Milwaukee warehouse and arrived in mid-September. I was rescheduled for December 7, and was told everything would be ready. Surprise, surprise, December 7 comes and the installer never shows. After making additional calls and leaving messages, I got a return call that my windows are still sitting up in Milwaukee and it is unknown when they will get them. Champion is terrible, and I suggest you never use them.
We purchased a sliding glass door and three windows, September 30th. Since the sliding glass door is not working correctly, they said they would try to expedite the order. We have been working with them since the and JUST TODAY were told they have not even started the windows! They can't do the door, so they have done NOTHING! They would not contact us, we have to continually reach out to them. Should have NEVER paid in full in advance! That was a mistake!!! Now they don't know how long it will take to get our money back either! What garbage! So angry. And this has NOTHING to do with COVID!
They have the worst customer service. We have been trying to get someone fix a repair covered under warranty for months. we paid a $99 service fee, but every time we call, they have no idea who we are and promise to get back to us.RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!
Our salesman, Jarrah was punctual and professional. The color we needed to match the house we recently purchased was no longer a stock color. Jarrah was able to work with the shop and we got the color that matches the existing replaced windows exactly. The lead time to receive the windows was 12 weeks. Installation went smoothly and again professionally. The only negative encountered was the cost. But, they are high quality windows and work perfectly. I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I’m extremely pleased.
