You don't want to call these people out to work on your home. The are way overpriced! They are trained to make you think that you have to pay top dollar for quality work. That is usually right! But keep shopping for a better contractor. You will pay top dollar for this company but you will not receive top quality.
Advertised Company Promotion, "Buy 2, get 1 free". The Factory Reps Initial quote for 14 residential windows(standard size) was $32,000.00. With their promo discount applied, price was reduced to $26,500.00. Not in agreement with their pricing, I was asked to speak with and complete a survey/questionnaire with customer service personnel, who could offer further discounts. Price was then reduced to $13,500.00; however, this pricing was for windows of a lesser quality, reduced warranty and installation when convenient to their work schedules. Due to overpricing, bait and switch techniques, and high pressure sales technique, My decision was to walk away and seek window replacement elsewhere. As a Vietnam Era Vet and Senior Citizen, I took offense to these techniques
I have not had a good experience, so far. I had 3 windows installed early this year. By March one of the windows cracked, from top to bottom, due to a defect in the window. It took months for someone to come look at the window. We are now in November, and the window has still not been replaced. They called this morning,and changed the appointment that was set for 11/11 to 12/2. I can't measure the energy that has been lost, but I'm sure it is substantial. Covid, plus employees not showing up for work, were the reasons given. I find it interesting that they had enough employees to continue making sales calls though. I honestly expected more for the high price on these windows. I'm very disappointed.
Champion Windows has NO COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our sunroom was completed in September, 2019. Although we were happy with the product there were a few problems that needed to be repaired. I called the company 5 times early this summer to secure assistance, including contact of the office of the CEO, Todd Dickson. Still there was NO RESPONSE.In September I filed a small claim in Clermont County Court. I received an immediate response from Champion. Some of the work was completed but the major problem has not been repaired. I have given up on Champion and will finish the repairs myself. The court will determine if I am given any claim. We’ve had a sun room installed (payed around 30k) and we’ve had nothing but problems. At the beginning of 2020 we found that the floor was damp and rotting, to the point it was growing mushrooms. Upon inspection it was found that the proper components weren’t used to prevent water from coming into the room from the floor. The walls were removed, the section of floor replaced and they left. Unfortunately they did not inspect the entire floor and now we once again have a damp floor with mushrooms growing. To make it worse we’ve been trying to get someone to come out since September without any success.
