Review Time
We had a champion door installed in February 2019. The paint is chipped around the door handle on the outside making the door look much less than its $3,600 cost. I have tried ten or more times to get help from both the Boise Champion store and the national line. I've not received help from the company that prides itself in customer service.
We had an All Season's Room Built by Champion in Cincinnati. It was a great experience. We love our addition. Dealing with covid, we had to wait a little longer than normal conditions. The installation manager, Scott communicated with us on a regular basis and was very accessable to our questions. The installers were highly experienced and worked hard to complete the job timely. Thank you, Champion!
This rating is based on lack of clear communication between Champion of Portland and myself. I had an install scheduled for aprox 11:30 AM. They showed up at aprox 9:30. I allowed one crew member to enter to show him the job. I asked him to put on a mask. He claimed he did not wear one because of the nature of his job. I offered to provide a mask but he refused my offer. I ended the job right there and contacted Champion of Portland. Let me say I was very angry and hope I did not offend anyone.It is very obvious to me that we are in a pandemic. It must be obvious to a window installer that their customers might want added safety precautions.The second reason I was disappointed was that they show up two hours ahead of schedule without contacting me. I was not properly dressed when they arrived.Project has been rescheduled.
My sister and I met with representative Tim on September 28, 2020. We were trying to get ideas on a renovation to the back porch area of our mother's house. Tim got our input on what we wanted and proceeded outside to look at the possibilities of what we were asking for. We then returned inside where he demonstrated the product materials and gave us a layout of what we would be receiving. His presentation was very professional and we were pleased with the history of the company as well as his responses to our questions. I must also say that it was a learning experience for us as well. Very interesting demonstration and some very illuminating information. We were very pleased with our experience and are looking forward to the completion of the project.
