We had our patio screened in 4 months ago.The whole process was very unprofessional and unacceptable.The installation done unexpectedly without our approval while we were out of town and wrought iron railling was not removed before the installation as the salesman promised .Most importantly, we were outrageously over charged and misled with information, made us make the wrong descision as inability to convert the screened patio to sunroom as easy as the salesman promised. When the Champion made aware of the situation, they totally ignored by no response.We will not recommend this business to friends.
I had champion windows install 17 windows. They were on time, at a fair price. The work was completed professionally on schedule. One person was responsible for coming in and out of house even though I am a male I felt safe an secure. After completion I was reeducation to working of the windows and I have had no issues.
First, salesman gave wrong information on screens. No one answers phone in office - ever. Always answering machine.No list of window prices given to customer by salesmanWrong window sent and waited 2 months for new one.Installers very nice and professional.Management not so much.
You're dealing with a bunch of subcontractors, some of whom can't count or measure, and who aren't committed to showing up as scheduled. Customer service is terrible. The recording says they'll "promptly" return your phone call, which they do until you have a complaint. Then they just ignore you. I was sold high quality windows and siding at an excellent price. I had to downgrade to 1950s windows when it turned out that the sales person under counted by 10 windows. Then then 3 windows were missing and the attic windows were mis-measured. The old windows had been removed. The crew put them back in place without securing them. I was promised the missing and mis-measured windows would be in in 2 weeks. 6 weeks later, I called and called and called and called and was ignored. I called the central office, couldn't speak to a manager, and was told they'd send an e-mail to the customer service rep who was ignoring me. The windows and siding are fine, but I would never deal with this company for anything ever again, and I've told all my friends to to the same.As for their reply (below), the job is complete. NOW they care about customer service. My advice: Use a different company.
Window installation was very good, but needed to get a new bedroom screen. This took longer than expected to receive. My son and daughter-in-law got new windows and mentioned our name, but have not seen the check we were told about when we signed-up for our windows. Guess that is just to get people to talk about Champion Windows to our friends.
We had an excellent experience with Champion. From the beginning with their sales professional to the final shingles on the roof, everything went very well. We are very pleased with our sun room and we have received many compliments on it.
