We had good experience with this company in Wisconsin, but totally opposite in Kentuckey. We bought 6 windows in Kentucky. 1st and second payment were made in October and November, and on December first salesman helped himself and took 3rd payment. with that payment we got overcharge almost $1000. A week later when we called the office there was no record of that payment, and the manager sent us a email with a payment due of a few hundred dollars. That means if we didn't notice overcharge on our credit card we would be charged even more. Today is December 14 we are still waiting on overcharge refund we think the windows were overpriced. Very disappointed we will never do business with that company in Kentucky again.
Champion is no longer a reliable company. I’ve used them in the past. However, I have ordered a door to be installed at my house three months ago. I made a substantial down payment. They lost my order. Now they’re calling for additional money. At this point, I will never use them again. They have taken my money and will not complete the job. I am very worried that they are actually scamming me.Update: They reached out to me to try to resolve this issue. Their position was for another $3000, they will continue to promise to deliver a product that they have failed to deliver one time. I feel like they’re trying to rip me off even worse. For context, I’m a 22 year old girl living in a very run down house and in the process of making it a rental home. I was thinking about getting new windows for a long time, but was terrified of the process. I had no idea where to start. I took a leap of faith and started looking online for different options. Champion stood out to me with their ratings and how polished their website was. And lo and behold, scheduling an appointment with them was quick and easy! Lance came out to take a look at my window and go through the process of getting it set up for replacement. Lance was super professional, considerate, and informative. He went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make this process as smooth as possible. I felt extremely comfortable during the entire process, which is saying a lot since I have never gotten my windows replaced before! I am so grateful for this great experience that I had and I can’t wait to see my new windows!
Please do not use this company. Not only did they mis measure our windows, they forgot to order one completely twice. Their workers didn’t wear booties and tracked dirt throughout our house. The entire process took 6 months due to their mistakes and when I asked for help or compensation for all of the things that went wrong they said “that’s not something we do”. Don’t make the mistake I made.UPDATE: I responded to their message below and they stated, “it’s just an automated message, nothing we can do”
We have been in the market (in Boerne/Hill Country) for replacement windows for sometime & seriously shopping them the past 2 years, interviewing custom window companies that do heavy advertising, high pressure sales & scare tactics with no personal follow up other than a survey. We have also interviewed production vinyl-window companies that have claims for low-e & good warranties, but we could see the difference in their sample windows at the corners & hollow makeup.
