Topline - Hector & his installation crew did a great job with the available materials & equipment they had. They were respectful & professional. Abed, the salesman was good at returning phone calls, nothing more. He never seemed to want to get involved after we’ve signed the contract. The engineering people, Christian & Christopher did a poor job communicating with each other, Hector’s crew and us, their customers. The company seems to have a high employee turnover rate.The project took more than 12 months to complete. The issues were too numerous to go into detail.In summary, the project was anything but hassle free. We find that we cannot recommend Champion for a sunroom project.
Johnathan Ferguson was great! I was very impressed with his presentation about Champion Windows products and why Champion stands out from the other window companies and installers. He made sure every question or concern was answered before he left that day. I had had two other companies give me quotes prior to my appointment with Campion Windows and had my doubts about dealing with those companies.
My wife and I purchased our home in 2017. The house was built in the 1950's and needed new windows really bad. We haven't been able to afford new windows until now, and I really didn't know where to start so I went on line. I found ad after ad advertising every kind of window on the market. I don't know why, but of all the ads out there I chose Champion Windows. I called their Charlotte NC branch to schedule a sit down for a quote and a couple of days later Mr Anthony Chretien, an absolute gentleman, and as far as I am concerned, a valuable asset to the company, showed up at our door. I tell you, I could not be any more pleased with Mr. Chretien's level of knowledge, professionalism and expertise. He is an absolutely amazing individual.Of course our new Windows haven't been installed yet but my wife and I are excited about the prospect of getting these amazing new windows. It's an investment, and a decision, that I think we can be proud of for years to come. The style, the value, and the comfort that they will add to our home will be so satisfying I recommend champion Windows to anyone, anywhere looking to purchase Windows. I give Champion, and Mr. Chretien, a great big thumbs up, and a whopping five-star rating. Why, because I honestly and wholeheartedly believe that we are purchasing the very best windows, on the market, at an amazing price. Prior to today, we were under the impression that maybe we would never be able to have our old outdated windows replaced. But after today, I say, how can we afford not to. In my opinion, if you choose otherwise, you will choose wrong.
Phase 1 was great, price competitive and terms acceptable. I received updates for my project. 4 out of five windows were installed in a short amount of time, professional installation was less than one day. However one window had been mismeasured and required replacement. I was told the remaining window would be expedited. Two months later I had neither received any updates nor were my calls returned. Eventually I was told I would receive emails with status updates and expected installation date. Didn't happen. I finally complained to their regional and I was notified (with no explanation for the delay) that my replacement window had arrived that very day and was installed that afternoon.
It seemed as though things went well until the person came out to measure the windows. It was then that we realized that some windows had been left out of the estimate. These windows were in very poor condition. The salesman shouldn't have scheduled in the evening because he missed a lot.Once we did an addendum, the cost went from reasonable to exorbitant. Had we known this ahead of time we would have gone with a different company. Additionally, their custom windows were not custom at all. They don't make them to fit your current opening, rather they use their stock windows that don't always fit. In our case, they elected to put in a smaller window with considerably larger trim (3 or 4 inches of trim added to either side of the window). Very tacky. We feel this will not enhance the look of our property at all. So disappointed with our investment. Shame on you Champion. We will not be recommending this company to anyone. Don't be fooled, check all your options before committing.
