I ordered windows in April been a disaster ever since

I ordered windows in April and promised in August, a change was made to the contract to add color to the outside but never informed of the delay nor told I would be expected to pay the difference in cash at the completion of the installation. The installers did a great job and were friendly and professional but management was unconcerned and dismissive about their lack of communication. The rep came to check on the installation and when I showed him the areas that needed touch-up he informed me that they would send me the touch-up paint to do myself... That is not my job on a newly installed window. The windows are expensive too, which I had no issue with but I expect customer service to be better with the cost of these windows.

Worst customer service, hands down!

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced period! Yes, they are less expensive, but it's not worth the headaches to save a little, trust me! Stay as far away from this company as you can. Ordered windows & a door in December of 2022 & we're still fighting with them. We had billing issues from the get go & I had to threaten a lawsuit when no one would respond to my emails for four months! When the door was finally installed it broke the same day, June 16th. I reached out to our sales person who said he would take care of it & nothing. On August 21st, I again threatened legal action & the response was "Oh, did you want me to put in a service request"? Seriously! At that point I decided that I would rather just go outside of Champion Windows & have it repaired by someone else. Then I receive a threatening letter from their office manager stating that if we don't schedule the service they will send the parts back & then charge us when they have to re-order! So it's ok for them to blow us off for two months & then they have the gall to threaten us! Also, they haven't been out to the house once since the installation so exactly how did they order parts without even assessing the damage? I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and their response was that I wasn't their customer, my husband was so, they refused to speak with me. He had to refile the complaint even though we made the decision to purchase together as most couples do. I hadn't paid for the door portion of the bill because of all of the problems and today I receive another threatening letter saying they are going to file a lein on my property if I don't pay immediately for a broken door. All I can say is stay far, far away from Champion Windows of Colorado Springs. They are absolutely horrible to their customers!

Strung us along then raised the price

Would highly recommend using a different company. The windows are windows and the installers they hired were professional and were fine. But I would find a more reputable company to work with.We received quotes from a few companies to replace 4 windows. Choose Champion and paid 1/3 the quote deposit at signing. You have 3 days to cancel after signing and paying to get your money back, otherwise you pay them a large penalty. They sent someone out to measure about a month later, paid another 1/3 the price. Over a month after they measured, 2+ months after we signed the contract, we get a text from Champion saying they charged us too little and we needed to pay them more money or they'd cancel the order. I reread the contract, again if we canceled we pay them, but they had a clause they can cancel at any time and just return your deposits. So they strung out the process only to basically extort us for more money. At this point we paid it vs going back to square one, but I'll tell everyone I know going forward pick another window company.

My window project started in March and…

My window project started in March and wasn't completed until September. I ordered 4 windows 2 were correct 2 were incorrect. They started my installation in May. Was told the 2 that were incorrect were priority order. Called several times and nobody seemed to have placed the order. Finally after getting in touch with Robert Ferguson I started getting answers. They finally brought and installed the correct glass. Love the windows. Just didn't anticipate the experience not going smoothly.

Nolan and Asia were outstanding

Nolan and Asia were outstanding! I met with Nolan first to interview him to sense his trustability. I felt very comfortable to invite him back to meet my husband. I knew if my husband was convinced to buy from champion regarding engineering and company integrity, we would then be ready make a very important and expensive investment. Nolan and Asia were very profesional and knowledgable enough to convince both of us. His partner, Asia, I'm sure that I am misspelling her name, was very eager, helpful, confident and reassuring. She projected a quality that Helped us realize that we will be working with people that would ensure the best possible outcome. Now it's up to you Champion windows to deliver the quality product that your representatives so proudly guarantee!

Not Good, poor customer service, poor quality

We called Champion in September of 2022 to get a quote on doors for our home. We finally got a representative to come out on October 13th, we spent a few hours going over things and ordered 2 exterior doors and 2 storm doors. $8500 for the all. It was supposed to take about 6 months for them to come in and was supposed to be installed by late April, latest was to be May 1st, 2023. We were fine with that. We got the promotion where it was 0% interest if paid in full in 12 months. Ok. Champion was supposed to keep us updated on the status of our purchase. November, December , January, February, March, April; no word from Champion. I finally called the first week in April. When calling, you can't get in touch with anyone, you have to leave your number and they call you back. When they called me back, they said they were still waiting on the doors to come in. They would call and update us as soon as they came in. Ok. Now in this time period, we were charged and paid the first 5100$ in full. I called every week in May. I finally told them I wanted to cancel, but the cancellation period is three days after purchase. Which would have been 10/16/2022. I find that funny. In the beginning of May, I tried getting a hold of a manager or supervisor to express my concerns about our purchase, called every week, it is now June and no manager has called me back. June 11th the installer, Carl, called and said the doors are in, he will be here on June 19th at 9am to install the doors. At 11am, Carl still wasn't at my house and no one called me. I called the customer service number, the lady was very nice, she was upset about all I've been through. 230pm June 19th, I drove to the showroom store on Fernando Rd in Columbia. A nice man named Doug Congdon, the showroom manager, is helping me. I have explained the whole situation to him. Carl was in the back of the showroom on a conference call, Doug went back to ask him about why he didn't install the doors today. He Lied!! Said that he never set an appt for today, he said he called and told me I had to unblock the green sky account, which I can't do, champion has to do it. I was so frustrated about this. Why would I lie about it?? Where did I come up with that app?? I explained this to Doug and he said he believed me, but who knows. And the fact that this man lied about what happened… wow (Also I have the email that was sent to me saying that the appointment had been scheduled through the Champion system for June 19th.)So Doug is supposed to contact his manager and ask her about what's going on and what happens next and get back to me by the end of business today. Doug called me at 4:45pm, and said his manager was out sick today, which he didn't mention earlier when I spoke with him. But he said he sent her an email and he would call me Tomorrow. At 825 am on June 20, the office manager, Kimberly Gunn, called me, but I didn't answer. She left a message saying to fill out the green sky paperwork so they can make the last charge. She sent me the paperwork via email. On June 22nd, Kimberly Gunn, the office manager called me. She explained to me that we needed to sign the green sky paperwork so they could charge the last payment. I told her that we were waiting to hear back from Green sky. Because we are going forward with an investigation against Champion for their conduct during this project. The contract does say "start installation approximately 22-24 weeks from transaction date". As of June 19th, it has been 35 weeks. On June 28th, all of the paperwork had been completed and signed. I'm waiting for them to call and schedule an appt for the installation of our doors. WHich will now have to be delayed till it gets cooler outside because with the heat of SC all the bugs will be waiting to enter our home while they are working. So when they called I scheduled the appt for Oct 5th but the Green Sky account billing period ends the next day so I rescheduled for Sept 20, 2023. On Sept 20, 2023 an installer named Frank and his partner (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name or if he even told me. He was very nice also, very quiet.) came and installed our doors. Did the job in one day and was very nice and professional. Thanks Frank and your partner get 5 stars. Now the actual product that we got, 2 stars. The doors are the cheapest ones they had, which were still 8500$, so i guess we just expected something with better quality. We will never use or recommend Champion windows to anyone. Between the customer service and the quality of the product it is not worth the headache, money, or stress.
