Brian exceeded my expectations of answering my questions regarding my options available to repair my existing patio door. We had a great conversation on many topics and it was a pleasure meeting and talking with Brian. We hit it off like two lost brothers......Military, Work ethics, the whole bit!
Previously I would have rated Champion a 4 or 5 on the product and installation. We have had a frustrating, lengthy experience with our 3rd purchase from Champion Windows. Our 5 windows and screen installation has been going on for over a year! The company seems to have changed a lot over the last few years and customer service and follow through has gone downhill. We purchased 5 double hung replacement windows with screens in August of 2021. First installation was to be in November 2021. That was rescheduled due to the installers behind schedule. When they came 2 weeks later 2 of the sashes had gouges in the glass and there were silicone threads all over the glass. We worked for hours on cleaning the windows of the silicone and finally Champion agreed to have someone come out to clean the windows and replace 2 sashes. oh yeah, no screens either. We tried communication with the Ohio office as well as the installation office in Atlanta. Installers have been to our home 4 different times over the last year. Each time it was as if they didn't have records or talk within the company. Our salesman, phone - no answer. Took the deposit money and never looked back. They came with 1 window sash last month and "didn't realize" we had another to be replaced. Each time we talk to them its as if we are starting over. Champion called us in March, May, July and August 2022 telling us that they show our job is done and wanting final payment. We told them no final payment till job is done. We have the windows in, still waiting after a year on a replacement sash and 5 screens. We have asked for customer satisfaction price adjustment on the final price for the inferior quality experienced and the over one year delay . We realize the "supply chain" could have been challenging, but they boast of American made in Ohio...not waiting on china for the screen seals. It's been a very frustrating experience and we hope Champion figures out how to keep a customer coming back.
