February 17, 2023 UPDATE:DON’T BE FOOLED!It is now one year since we met with Champion’s former sales rep. After seeing our first review, someone with the national office at Champion responded with a promise to look into the matter and set an appointment for January 3, 2023. In the meantime the interior caulking had begun to split and separate, a warranty issue. So not only did they fail to meet the promised installation specifications, the work they actually performed is failing. Jesse came on January 3rd, as promised. He took photos and explained that the interior caulking was failing due to the poor exterior caulking work. He said all he could do was to submit the photos to “the powers that be” and wait for their decision. Meanwhile, we sit and wonder what damage is occurring as a result of the moisture seeping in through the lousy caulking job.If you read the positive reviews, you will note that the bulk of them were written after the sales call, but before the installation. DON’T BE FOOLED! If you do business with the Portland OR branch, you are likely in for a rude surprise! This company will not honor promises made by their salesman. We spent $30,000 dollars for 12 replacement windows and and a sliding glass patio door. We signed a contract on February 11, 2022 and received a text message from the "Installation Manager" on February 16th. The installation was scheduled for the end of May. We were left in the dark for 6 months despite numerous attempts to contact the company via phone call and text message, none of which were returned. In August, after mentioning, in a message, the possibility of legal action, we received one phone call informing us that some of our windows were in the Portland location, we heard nothing more until we left another message noting a deadline after which we would initiate legal action. The delay, itself, would have been understandable given the worldwide supply chain issues, however, the lack of communication was unconscionable.The installation finally occurred in the last week of August, 2022. However, the job failed to meet the description we had been given by the salesman, in that an excessive amount of caulk was used (as in having it run down the siding) and there was no trim around the windows. The Salesman had made a point of showing us photos in the brochure and pointing to our neighbor's Champion windows, all of which showed trim around them. At no time did he mention that the trim was an add-on at additional cost. Champion gave a variety of excuses and told us that the salesman was known for making verbal promises that he omitted from the contract, and refused to take responsibility for the sloppy caulking job, telling us that since the trim was not specified in the contract they were not responsible, and that we just needed to touch up the paint around the windows. Even though we asked for an estimate on the cost of having the trim added, Champion made no effort to provide one.We invested $30,000 for a subpar installation. (Neither the salesman nor the installation manager are currently employed with Champion.)It seems that customer service is an unknown quantity at Champion Windows.
The window side of my order was excellant. However, i ordered and paid for siding for the front of my home. It has been 90 days and i have talked with the company twice. No date has been set for installation.they keep trying to extend the date even further out. I am asking for my money back. They are practically unreachable on the phone. Wish me luck. Should never have paid up front..

We ordered the windows in June and they were installed in August which was super quick given the current market with everything! We were kept up-to-date with mailers about when our windows finished production and then contacted when they were ready to install! HUGE THANK YOU to our installation team that was given 2 days to install our windows and got it done in under a day! We are super happy with Richard, Champion Windows, and our Install Team who made this an amazing experience!
