Richard came to our home today to give us a quote on a new front door and frame. He knew exactly what he was talking about and broke it all down for us. He was very thorough and efficient. We are getting a good deal on a couple of windows too. Fantastic experience!
Terrible Customer service. I had 16 windows replaced on 19th Aug. 2022, of which 6 windows were installed with wrong grids and another one in the bathroom with a plain glass, where a tempered glass is required, as per the city code. Champion team promised me they would fix the issue and I paid them in full. Now when I call Champion service number every time, they promise someone from the service department would call me to follow-up. Early Sept. a gentleman from Champion came in to measure and promised me it would be taken care of by end Nov/early Dec.22. Till date no one has come for the service and its been 4 months since I had the install and 4 subsequent follow-ups. The sales guys are only interested in getting your business. They never respond to calls or texts. Customer service is even worse. Had I seen the other reviews, I would never have gone with Champion. They are the worst in service. I hope they can help address my issue and win my confidence.
Showed up to install and all of the windows had been measured wrong, they blamed it on the guy being new and not trained on proper way to measure, the installers ripped out all of my window trim and casing made as many of them as they could fit. Have to come back in 2 weeks is as soon as they could get back to replace all casing and trim around the windows they were able to install today. the rest are on order, it took 14 weeks to get the order the first time. I asked the installer to have their supervisor call me so I could ask some questions nail down some time frames for the rest of the windows to get installed. No phone call, I left a message for my salesman to help get me in touch with someone. It's been two weeks nothing not a phone call one. The installer wanted me to sign paperwork when he was done. I said no you can give that to your contact at Champion Windows tell them I am not signing anything this job is a mess, it's not done, I can't even get a simple phone call returned.
Our experience with Champion Windows was positive throughout the entire process. The construction was seamless throughout. Any questions or concerns were addressed quickly. When the sunroom wad finished we had a nasty storm com through. There was a little leak. I called John (project manager) and he had Jim and Keegan out the next day and the issue was resolved. My wife and I are extremely pleased with are sunroom.
They don’t know how to MEASURE!! If I could give zero stars, I would. There’s a reason they aren’t BBB Accredited!!! Had to deal with the long drawn out sales presentation and measurements taken to determine price of windows, signed a contract. Then had to be there during another afternoon for the installation manager to measure for himself. They still ordered the WRONG window. Of course they didn’t find out until they had ripped out the existing window, thus destroying it. Leaving an uninsulated hole in the house for over a month in 100+ degree heat. Then had to be there again for another installation of the correct one. At no time will you get anything from customer service. Nothing…. Just pay us a premium amount for a premium product that is standard at best. But the shoddy measurements and poor customer service, that’s all FREE!!! Good luck
David K., our sales person, explained the options clearly. John H. contacted us when ready to schedule the build of the sunroom. It was earlier than anticipated. Carl and Justin was the installation crew. They were professional and friendly. Carl gave me daily updates on the build. He would welcome my questions and answer or follow up promptly. I am very happy with my new 3 season sunroom.
Aug 2022: Richard Law in sales was awesome.Oct 2022- Installed sooner than expected, but installer admitted to installing damaged window frame, screen etc, also said he’d come back to fix other windows that did not fit right & ghosted me. Few weeks later, Inside Champion Rep#1 came out to take pics & note everything that was broken + missing. Dec 2022 - Inside Rep#2 came out to retake pics bc Rep#1 never submitted anything & quit. Feb 2023 - still no idea when the broken/missing parts will be installed..???
My in home sales person was Chad and a nice guy. He was informational and pleasant. We are going to have to wait between Aug 22 to Nov 22 to get these installed. We shall see about quality and service at time for further reveiw.
