Review Time
Initial interactions went well, if a little slow. Windows were explained well, and the installation itself was great - they definitely knew what they were doing and cleaned up everything before heading out. That being said, the "warranty" is a joke. A window cracked over the winter, and we've been trying to get it replaced since the end of December (it's July 25th today). After calling several times without a callback, we finally got a window on order...turns out it was the wrong window. They got the "right" window on order several months ago after we contacted them multiple times. They never call us for any updates, and rarely call back if we leave a message. Our last communication was with an installer who was confused because he had the wrong window over a month ago. Since then we've left several messages with no reply. The only way to get ahold of them is to continually call and hope someone answers, and if we do manage to get ahold of someone all we hear is "well it's been ordered...".
I work with Karl Vaughn he was very informative. Was able to give me the information I needed to purchase these windows. He said we are looking at sometime in October or November for installation. After seeing some of the reviews I hope everything go ok.
Placed a two-contract order at the end of Oct 21. One for some windows, one for two entry doors. When we placed the orders we put down an $8000 deposit, of which $3600 was earmarked for the doors. Estimated time of completion 14-16 weeks, which would mean everything done by the end of Feb 2022. By the end of Feb we had nothing and I called our sales rep. He said that it should be completed soon... and the windows were - by mid March. He said the doors were running about a month behind. Come April nothing - I contacted my sales rep and he had left the company, so I had to contact the general customer service line, since they didn't assign my account to someone else. From April through early June I called numerous times and was told that a scheduling manager would get back to me within 2 business days. But they never did. Finally in June I got a direct number to the installation manager and I left a message. They called back and said the doors had just arrived (or were arriving - I don't remember exactly) at the Denver warehouse and we could see an install by the end of June. July arrives and I start leaving messages. Keep in mind my messages are polite and I say "If there is a problem just let me know - I am patient and understanding". If they would just call back with an honest update I'd be willing to be patient, but at this time we are consulting with attorneys to look into our options. I won't get into the warranty repair issue we are having with the windows (we did have someone come out, to assess the problem but since then silence). I really wish I had looked them up on TrustPilot before signing with them.Follow up - September 1st, 2023. Still waiting for them to fix (replace) a window that had a warranty claim filed in March of 2022.
My meeting with Crispian Trewlella was very informative and pleasant. He knows his product and did a good job of explaining the entire process - start to finish. I look forward to installation of my patio door and will consider having three other windows replaced in the near future.
THE SALES REP WAS SCHEDUAL TO COME AND GIVE ME A QUOTE ONJULY 7 AT 600PM, THE TIME CAME AND WENT NO ONE SHOWED AROUND 630 I CALLED THE PHONE NO.(888)862-1846 WAS TOLD THE APP. HAD BEEN CANCEL. I ASK BY WHO. THEY DID NOT KNOW. I SAID IT WAS NOT ME AND I'AM THE OWNER.SO THEY RESCHEDUAL FOR THE 14AT 600AM. WELL THE REP SHOWED UP AT 300 PM. I EXPLANED TO HIM MY GRAND DAUGHTER WAS WORKING UPSTAIRE AND COULD NOT BE DESTERBED. HE WAS VERY RUDE.AND SAID HE COULD COME BACK.I TOLD HIM THAT WOULD BE OK. TO COME BACK AT 600 HE SAID HE COULD NOT COME BACK YESTERDAY BECAUSE HE HAD TO BE IN ELEJAY ,GEORGIA AT 600. SO HE TOOK OFF. I CALLED THE OFFICE AGAIN. THE LADY TOLD ME I WAS SCHEDUAL FOR 300. I SAID NO MAM, I HAVE IT RIGHT HERE IT WAS FOR 600. BECAUSE 2 PEOPLE HAD TOLD ME 600. SHE SAIS WELL THERE WAS A MISTAKE MADE. THAT WAS 2 WEEKS IN A ROW THAT MISTAKES ARE MADE. DHE SAID SHE WOULD RESCHEDUL. I TOLD HER NOT TO BOTHER I WOULD GET SOME ONE THAT WOULD SHOW UP. Ordered July 13 2021. Was told 10-12 weeks. On 8/23/21, was informed doors were in production. After daily calls starting in October, I was finally informed in December that the salesman never placed my order. Once the door was ordered, told expect 1 April for door arrival, doors arrived by the end of April, and installation was scheduled end of May. Day of installation, we find out 1. They ordered the wrong door. 2. The door we ordered was not available in our size. Huntsville Manager said he would talk to his boss about a discount since they messed up the order so bad, still waiting on that. Absolute horrible customer service, management at all levels should be ashamed.
Blake took his time and explained the whole process, was very happy with the price and signed up on the spot with him. I like the fact that they warranty their windows and can fix them instead of replacing them if anything needs repaired. I want zero maintenance and zero worries if something goes wrong.
