Coming into the store I was unsure what I needed, I was greeted politely by Erin. She asked me some questions about what I was looking for and gave me multiple suggestions. Erin measured me and gave me accurate measurements ensuring that the clothes would fit perfectly to my body and I eventually came to a decision. Erin was patient, very professional and an amazing representation of the store. Would definitely recommend coming here, will 100% be back. Thank you, Erin!
Avoid.
I returned a shirt with an obvious manufacturing defect at the cuff. Customer service confirmed it would be exchanged. Instead, they simply sent the same ripped shirt back to me.
No explanation.
No communication.
No accountability.
After nearly a decade of buying from this brand, this is how they treat a loyal customer.
If this is how they handle a clear fault — one they already agreed to resolve — I would seriously question their quality control and their integrity. When a company gives its word and then quietly ignores it, that tells you everything you need to know.
There are plenty of other shirt brands out there. Based on this experience, I would think twice before choosing this one.
The shirts arrived quickly and ahead of schedule, but they base your size on your neck measurement. I was swimming in the shirt I ordered. The cotton shirt felt like plastic, the wrists were so big I could almost fit both hands into them, and the stitching was coming apart. While exchanges are free they charge $9.95 for returns. When a company charges to return a bad product I assume they don't stand behind said product and send out bad orders more regularly then they should. Add in that if you buy these shirts for their stated price on the website with no discounts you can order a custom tailored shirt to your specific measurements for the same price and the cotton actually feels and acts like cotton. This shirt was no better than an off the rack department store shirt.
What is going on with the quality of Charles Tyrwhitt shirts? Have been a long time customer. My past couple of order for the slim fit shirts have been really disappointing. First one I assumed was a one-off quality issue and disregarded it. However, a number of the shirts are fraying at the collar and loose stitching at the cuff after just 3 or 4 washes. Is anyone else seeing this deterioration in shirt quality? Shame! Not inclined to buy more.
My Fiance ordered a shirt for my wedding and had it sent to my parents house where I will be staying before the big day, the shirt wasnt sent as different billing address to delivery address. Called to rectify and was meet with a very rude uppity member of staff! Explained the situation to him and he couldn't care less! Cancelled order.
Has anyone else experienced issues with this company? I feel like I fell victim to a classic bait and switch. They hold multiple "sales" throughout the year, including a Black Friday Sale. I ordered 4 shirts for $199. Unsure of my size due to the confusing website (their slim fit seems more like a regular fit), the representative advised me to order two of each size for easier exchanges. However, instead of sending me the promised shirt, the company decided to refund me $44 without my consent, claiming it was more economical. They cited stock issues, yet the same shirt is still listed as available online. When I pointed this out, they insisted it was a different shirt with the same name but a slightly different color, despite both being labeled "indigo blue." They refuse to send me the new shirt. Is this not a bait and switch? The shirts also lack quality and aren't worth the trouble.
