I wanted to give some feedback on the Charnwood Aire 7 I installed in October last year, so I've had 6 months with it over the Winter too.I have to say it is the most wonderful of wood burners I have ever owned. Easy to light, easy to control, easy to clean. In fact I have only ever cleaned the glass once, then just with a damp cloth. Emptying the ash is only needed every few weeks. The quality of the engineering is top-notch and this stove must be the result of a lot of development. At minimum air it just keeps ticking over, at maximum it really kicks out the heat, and there's everything in between. A typical evening we will burn just 4 decent hardwood logs - about half of what we used on the open fire, and you get more and better controllable heat too. Every home should have one!
Excellent purchase of the Charnwood Island 1. We had previously purchased one from you and knew we would not be disappointed. We were especially pleased with the guidance and support that came from Heat Source based in Uppingham Rutland. Agnes was superb in offering advice and ensuring the delivery was on time for the fitting.
Already having other of your stoves the quality of our latest purchase was again to the highest standard, but the most important factor to me was the wonderful service received from Burning Question here in Perth. Dealing with Douglas, the owner, and Heather in the showroom was, as usual, quite wonderful in every respect, best possible attention to detail, and always in such a courteous manner.
