I am a consumer who is scheduled to have furniture delivered through CH Robinson. I called to see if I could change my delivery date since my furniture was shipping early and I would not be home. Not only will it sit in my front yard for someone to steal, but it is suppose to rain. This piece of furniture cost $2000.The guy was incredibly rude. Even though they had just texted me a link to load their app (which never would load) they said they couldn't help me and he made it clear it was my problem, not his and he didn't have time to help someone who didn't have the full information he needed. Pottery Barn did not give me a tracking number so I couldn't give it to CH Robinson. They also said if I knew what city the furniture was shipping from, they could look it up that way, which I had no clue where is was being shipped from. But they had no way to look my shipment up by my phone number, name or address. Ridiculous! I won't order any more furniture from pottery barn because they use this freight company.

Do not fall for the CH Robinson scam. They offer the cheapest prices to attract small businesses looking for affordable solutions. This is not one of them and it will cost you a lot more. They will lose your products and deliver incredibly late the ones that they don't lose.I had 3 shipments with CH Robinson and they lost most of my products. I don't know if they actually lost them because it seems incredible to lose such high quantities, so I am assuming that some of their warehouse employees are actually stealing the products. I can't imagine how a carrier would lose so many pallets otherwise.For the ones that they did deliver, they delivered 2 months late. My products only sell in December as they are gifts. Instead of delivering on Dec 1, they delivered at the beginning of February.Their answering times are really slow. It took them about 3 weeks to even come up with the remaining inventory list.I am now in the process of claiming the money for the lost inventory and will update this review depending on how they handle that.The money used to pay for that inventory came from the bank and now I have to pay it back with interest. CH Robinson has caused me great financial problems which will very likely bankrupt my business if they won't refund me in a short period of time. Moreover, this has created tremendous personal stress that ultimately reflected on my family life and overall health.I am also in the process of filing a lawsuit against CH Robinson. If anyone else is in the same situation, please reach out and let's start a class action lawsuit against CH Robinson. Horrible customer service. NO accountability when things get screwed up. Set up a truckload delivery at 8am, took time off to receive, hired help to assist and 9:15 I contacted them to wish he responded he moved it back a week, no notice, no responsibility. I escalated the issue to management, they didn't care. Took over a month for them to even respond.

Charging $175 fee per container for drayage congestion is taking advantage of importers/exporters already reeling from massive shipping costs inflation. I own Global Gateway Logistics and we are a freight forwarder and NVOCC too and I can confirm there are forwarders that exist that do not charge exorbitant fees. Transparency should be demanded, both with shipping costs and tracking.
