No help at all!!

Really no help at all when I found out I was going to struggle to pay last 9 payments, through no fault of my own. I called customer service, only to be told that all they could do was to let me have a payment holiday (miss next 2 payments - resulting in a poor credit rating) or pay a lump sum therefore reducing my monthly bill. No help either when it was a lack of funds that was the problem in the first place. Ended up switching to another car finance company with a cheaper interest rate.

My Close Bros experience

My previous car was through Close so getting the finance for my new car was easy and so quick. It all went through in an hour or so and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great service from the first day I started using them.

Awful company to deal with

Pretty awful company to deal with, I had my policy cancelled due to a missed payment months ago, I had no idea it had been missed at all and they never sent a letter or email, they claimed they called me but I work 9-5 too so they couldn't get through, they refused to do anything to help and cancelled everything; awful practice, especially during a cost of living crisis.

Don't use this company

This company is a joke I put a complaint in back in April and have heard nothing back I've call them every day this week and they won't talk to me I have now got to go down the legal route don't use this company

Misselling

Took out a home insurance policy with Swinton in Nov23. On sane day I took out policy I realised it wasn't suitable so when I received email to sign credit agreement I emailed back to say the policy wasn't suitable. 2 weeks letter another email to sign credit agreement and I again emailed to say the policy wasn't wanted.They took 6 months payments. I complained and they advised that in very small print in email it said the email address wasn't monitored Despite my clear evidence they kept my money. There seems no way to refuse agreement even during filling off period So I'm making a larger complaint to financial ombudsman in hope they can find how common this is. I hope to prove these agreements aren't fair or valid and are missold
