Took out agreement in august 2022,cancelled on 28th march 2023 due to no longer requiring policy from broker ( west Pennine ins todmordon ) west pennine are fantastic, and have been trying to organise a refund for me, made lots of calls to close brothers on my behalf, ref 501381542201 close brothers still got access to my bank account to take payments in future, I regret taking this policy out with close brothers now, zero communication from them, think very carefully before taking out any agreement with them !
I'm trying to contact Close Brothers for more than a month now regarding the car they financed for me which has a bad HPI. I sent multiple mesages and did not have a reply yet. Awfull customer service.Update 01/04/2023I could not reply back to your reply but that's a complete lie so I edit my feedback here.I sent a complaint on the 19/03/2023 and another one on the 28/03/2023. I would put here the proof but I can't. So please stop lying to your customers and instead of doing that here go and deal with their issues.
Close Brothers were on the ball right from the start.They made a prompt decision & kept in constant contact with me.On every occasion I was asked for security questions, which I believe was relevant, due to the fact there was a large financial investment involved.I would highly recommend this company, while I have dealt with before on a similar scale.Keep up the good workOnce again thank you very much for all your help,time & effort.Kind RegardsTrevor Kinch
Smooth application for vehicle finance, didn't take longer than 30mins for the whole finance to be set up with the dealer and drive away in my car that I love. The only slight annoyance is that they send annual balance updates, whereas I would much prefer a monthly balance sent every time I make a payment so that I can atleast see and feel that the balance is getting less, I'm only in year two of a 4 year repayment and have to admit the novelty of the car wore off quite quickly, now I feel I'm stuck with a never ending bill, but that's nothing to do with the company or the application process, this would happen to anyone in a long repayment application I guess.
My wife and I wrote a complaint about car sales being misleading. At first, company representatives contacted us and then disappeared. Completely ignoring emails. It has been almost a year since the date of the complaint...Complaint reference number CDCR-34152623
