I found the whole process with close Brothers motor finance painless from start to finish. It's my first time with motor finance ,it wasn't a large amount but they were there when I needed support to buy the car I really like. Thanks guys, I know where to come in the future and would certainly recommend. Mr Reilly.
Have a complaint going on from 6th March. I called for an update and they said it was closed as they couldn't get ahold of me. I hadn't received any letters, emails or calls. a further call said it got lost as the case handler left the company a while ago and no one picked the case up. It is my work van so I have a serious loss of earnings. I also received a clearance letter and to cancel all direct debits so I did then multiple missed payments put onto my credit score. Still no resolution and no direct contact available. Do not use this company for anything.
When I struggled with payments as I had to buy another cheap car due to mine been taken,Owen and I think some body called Chloe helped me get sorted out with payments with changing amounts to pay,changed dates when I had to and very polite and extremely helpful absolutely fantastic help all round.
Financed a car with close brothers bought from avanti automotive. After buying the car I took it in for a service (within 3-4 days) and got advised it has a oil leak. Spoke to close brothers and told me they will ring warranty company. Told me to take the car to this garage they couldn't sort it then told me to take it to that garage they couldn't sort it then told me to take it this other garage couldn't sort it. They then sent the engineers out and got told it wasn't the garages the warranty/finance company told you to take. You must've took it to another garage yes I did take it to another garage but informed both the finance and warranty company and they agreed that I could take it there to get the matter resolved. Bottom line is I've had the car just sat there collected dust for past 3 years and lost out on over £15,000. Will never use close brothers again or Avanti automotive in Bristol and will never point anyone to close brothers. Absolute shambles of a company. Lesson learnt the hard way.
I sat down whith the car dealer we struck a deal they contacted close brothers motor finance and they replied whith in 15 minuets whith them accepting me as a customer paper work sent digital I picked up my mew car 1 week later both the finance company and the dealer first class
