I would like to say many Thanks to all the team, they realy help me with the finance even tho i had a realy rough year, they understood the difficulties and help me.THANK YOU and i would recomend to everyone that needs a car to finance.
they come across as menacing debt collectors even though you haven't missed payments. Constant "important" emails and also a phone phonecall early on where the operator behaves like a tv cop interviewing a suspect rather than a customer. I will avoid this company in future once I've paid this finance off purely by how they've made me feel as a customer
Almost 7 Months battling with the bike shop and the finance company and it getting beyond a joke now.My other half bought an Aprilia RSV4 From Wheels Peterborough. long story short, Bikes been back to Peterborough 3 times, still could not rectify the fault we have had nothing but issue since June, its 125 miles from us to the dealer ship. The dealership has come and collected the bike every time, they're good for that but, The bikes away for a week or 2 at a time. Engineer came out did a report saying not road worthy and has to go back to the dealership, money back etc.Every time you ring Close brothers you get directed to the complaints department that are near impossible to talk to, You are on hold for a minimum of 30 mins and then have 0 knowledge on the complaint you are on about. You constantly get told someone will ring you back, Never had a phone call back. We have always had to ring up and go through the pain of the same conversation with different people to get the same outcome of nothing.You get passed around with nothing getting resolved.The bike got collected from my other half's over a week and a half ago the finance knew this as we had to confirm that was ok. It got taken back so the finance could be unwound and the dealership take whatever off etc. Rang the finance company for an update today 12/12/2023 and we got a response of ' the bike shop needs to come an collect the bike and we ill go from there'. Well that's good but doesn't help when the bike has already been collected.They have 0 knowledge of where anything is and what your case is. My other half has been paying for a bike that he hasn't been able to ride properly since buying it., 7 months of payments and still having to paying now even though we haven’t got the bike. If anyone from close brother would like to enlighten my other half with an email or a phone call his name is Lee Wright and the vehicle is a 19plate Aprilia RSV4.The financial ombudsman have been rung and if this not sorted by This Friday the 15th December this will be going further.Proper sham of a company, I don't think i have any words to describe how bad the customer service is. If you’re taking finance out and have a problem, good luck. Honestly the worse company I think I ever had to deal with.If there is going to be a generic email response to this complaint and nothing actually done about it or ' please email xxx@Xxxx. Don't bother copy and pasting the reply.
0 STARS! This company is an absolute joke! If you ever have an issue with a car they provided finance for, get ready for a long and painful road. I got a car 7 months ago that is not fit for purpose. The complaint still isnt resolved to this day! You cant ever get through to the complaints team, instead having to call customer services who know NOTHING at all. They cant put you through to someone so you have to wait for a call back which can take up to 72 hours. The call NEVER COMES! They dont reply to emails and then months later when you stop your payments they send letter and call you instantly... oh and not to mention ruining your credit report by adding missed payments. Close Brothers are an absolute joke and this whole process have severely affecting my mental health and stress levels. They dont care about you if you have an issue but are super helpful when taking out finance. I would like to know if these people are accredited by the FCA as I am taking this further!
Have motorbike insurance through Swindon with Close Brothers, insurance is £5 a month, due to my mistake I didn’t have that money in there as I have multiple accounts. I assumed they would just try again like everybody else, which they did, plus a £25 fee. I didn’t think anyone does this anymore, certainly no other companies I deal with, but they do. Cheap way of making money from hard working people.
5 years later still no access to my online account. Asked for a settlement quote and they sending you password that doesn't work. Whats the point advertising 24/7 online services if nobody can use them? Phone lines only working Monday till Friday 9-5 so can't get anything sorted during weekend when most people have time to sort stuff!!!Really poor service from this well recognised company!Finance itself not bad
Confirmed that finance deal went through, then day of car collection came and they pulled the deal last few hours before. It was disgusting. Ruined the entire year as we had lots planned with the car. Ruined credit score for no reason. Cuts of when trying to call customer service. Liars on the phone never trust them!!
