Wouldn’t be where I am today without Cole’s Classroom Pro

This group has been the backbone of my growth as a photographer. I have gone from a fledgling newbie in photography to starting my own business. There is always someone there with great advice and helpful cc. The friends and connections I have made in this group is nothing short of amazing.

Highly Recommend Cole's Classroom

Cole's Classroom has been a great investment in my photography education. The mentors and community are the most caring and invested group of people on the internet. #communityovercompetition

Hour long scam!

I listened to the hour long "The Hashimoto's Health Accelerator" sales pitch for 3 free tests at the end. At the end you have to put in your email and mailing information which is fine (so they can send the free gift) but then it turns out you have to pay $97.00 on a credit card which apparently included a free class which was never mentioned. I called and the person on the line wasn't even sure which program I was talking about because they have so many but when I told him I didn't want the class, just the free tests, his response is that there is a $27.00 charge for just those. I was upset about how it was very misleading (I'm not even sure if it's legal) to tell someone for an hour that at the end they would receive 3 free tests and then have a $97.00 charge for them. After all that and reading other terrible reviews I realized I could just get these tests done by my doctor. Definitely a scam!

Misleading and not value for money

Misleading, non-existent customer service and not value for moneyI wish I had seen these reviews beforehand as I also fell into their trap. Initially thought I'd try a 10 day trial for $1, aware that there would be a monthly subscription fee afterwards. However it was NOT made clear that a whole $49.99 would immediately be taken the day the trial period was over. This is clearly a recurring dispute for the Coles Classroom company, as upon noticing the unexpected payment some time later (I'd been going through difficulties and didn't immediately notice I'd been charged), I visited the customer service site to complain, and found there is a dedicated page to answer the recurring question "Why Was I Charged $49 After My 10 Day Trial?". I therefore maintain that the company does NOT make it clear to customers how the fees are charged, and is deliberately misleading in order to take more payment than initially expected. The refund policy page claims: "there are no refunds provided for any Cole’s Classroom Pro membership payments. Note, there are no contracts and no penalties if anyone chooses to cancel their subscription & membership, however there are no refunds for Cole’s Classroom Pro payments."I believe the refund policy is unfair as the deceptive nature of the initial information is discriminatory towards various mental and learning disabilities as the information on the sales page was not clear. I have Adhd & mild dyslexia so I was at a disadvantage. I attempted to get in touch with the company on 01/05/2020 via email to explain this but received no response. Furthermore, I did not feel the resources provided were value for money. It is quite expensive but there is not much here that you cannot find elsewhere for free or for a better price. I eventually received a short, automated response referring me to the refund policy page and have not been able to contact them since.

Not a scam. Just people who don’t pay attention.

There are lot of people who are complaining about this being a scam and that it total BS. Those people clearly are NOT paying attention. They are very upfront about the initial $1 trial lasting only 10 days and then being charged the monthly subscription fee is it is not cancelled before the trial is over. Have some common sense, people! It’s like this everywhere you turn! Netflix, Hulu, gaming apps, etc. Everyone offers a FREE day 7 or 30 day TRIAL subscription and automatically charges you full monthly subscription fees thereafter if not cancelled before the trial has ended. Again, Cole’s Classroom is not a scam. They offer A LOT of resources for learning technical photography skills, posing, social media marketing, and even a customer management app called Hey Ned. They do have some stuff to work of because I believe this program is still fairly new but I am very happy with my subscription and the supportive Facebook Community that comes with it.

I have asked for a password reset twice…

I have asked for a password reset twice to be sent to my email since I have tried to log on to no avail. This has been charging me for some time and I can't find any way to cancel. Ridiculous and no phone number!!

Complete scam!

Complete scam!! What you think you signed up for and what you actually signed up for are completely different! Pay $1 to try something and now you have signed up for a $49 reoccurring charge permit month! If you feel for this, as I did, call your credit card company and cancel so that they don’t see a dime of your money!!

Beware of scam!

I signed up 10 days ago. I have been trying to cancel my membership for the past three days unsuccessfully. On their website, they say that you go need to go to your profile and click on unsubscribe. I have tried three different browsers and none of them show the option to unsubscribe. This is surely a scam to make you pay the $49 after the 11th day. Do not fall for this trap. I have emailed them and have submitted my request on their website. So far, noone has replied.

After seeing numerous ads on…

After seeing numerous pop up ads on Facebook for this photography book I decided this morning to order the book only.... then supposedly for and additional 1 cent I could get access to some free tutorials. Shipping was FREE! Within 1 second of submitting my PayPal info I was billed $43.99. I have immediately asked for a cancellation of my entire order or to send the $14.99 book. If it is handled properly I will be happy to update this review.

Business Details

  • Since 2014, our mission at Cole’s Classroom has been simple: to provide affordable, high-quality training for photographers at every stage of their journey—from brand-new beginners to seasoned professionals.

Regarding our Trustpilot reviews, we want to offer full clarity about our most popular program: Cole’s Classroom Pro. This monthly membership includes access to more than 28 in-depth courses, over 300 quick video tutorials, and 15 behind-the-scenes, on-location photo sessions, all for $49 per month.

To make joining risk-free, every new member begins with a 10-day free trial. This gives full access to the entire library so photographers can explore everything and decide—without pressure—whether the membership is right for them.

We’re committed to transparency. At the time of purchase, we clearly outline what’s included, how the trial works, and when it converts. We also make cancellation easy: there is a cancellation link on our product pages and support pages, and we send multiple reminder emails before any trial converts to a paid membership.

If you ever need help, our support team is available 7 days a week at support@colesclassroom.com.See more
