Advertises a crankshaft as fitting a 24v 5.9 Cummins Common Rail. The part they sell you is actually for a 12v Cummins.Company wanted me to pay to ship it back, pay to restock it, then pay to have the correct crankshaft sent back to me. Ya, that would actually DOUBLE the cost of the crankshaft.Worse still, they changed the product page after I began to complain about the advertising and then implied that I should have known that modifications were required for it to fit. Luckily, I had archived the original product page. The worst, though, is that the modifications they want you to make to this crankshaft for it to fit the 24v 5.9 Cummins Common Rail are dangerous. According to both Cummins and Mahle, these modifications should NEVER be made by the consumer for any reason.Check the reply for yourself, people. They advertise something incorrectly. They tell people to modify it in ways that are dangerous and against manufacturer advice. They want to charge consumers a mountain of cash to fix their advertising mistake, and claim the consumer isn't very understanding for not wanting to pay that mountain of cash, not wanting them to dodge responsibility, or wanting to wait additional time for people not involved. .. all to fix their mistake.Right.
Ordered a part on Saturday that I needed ASAP. Paid for express shipping to get it Sunday. Didn’t come Sunday. They are not open on the weekend, (but yet they still kept the extra $40 for express shipping). I emailed them Sunday night to CANCEL the order. I get an email the next morning that said that I couldn’t cancel it because it had already been processed. I don’t know how it had been processed, because they were closed all weekend. They emailed me at 8:18 am on Monday morning. They said it would be a 20% cancellation fee and to let them know if I still wanted to cancel it. I emailed them back and said to CANCEL IT. They sent it anyways. When I request to return it, they said they don’t take returns on electronic parts. SCREWED OUT OF $165 + $40 shipping. And they didn’t even send what I ordered. I needed a sensor for an ‘04 Dodge and the package, (that I never opened), says it’s for ‘98-‘02. Buyers beware. They’ll go out of their way to screw you out of your money.Edited in response to CCP Diesel reply:You are missing the point, I told you to CANCEL the order in plenty of time for it to have not been shipped out. I would have rather been out $32 than $160. You shipped it anyways. And now you won’t take it back and refund my money. But CPP You have taught me a good lesson. I, like most people, do not read the Cancellation, Shipping and Return Policies on the websites I shop at before pushing the pay button. You have so many things you don’t take back (and the fact you aren’t open on the weekend), that it should be on posted the Home Page of your website. I will definitely be doing that from now on. Expensive lesson learned. Judging from your ratings, it looks like I’m just another victim, so I, too, have shared my experience with the world so you may lose more business than the $160 I lost.
Do not buy from this place more so when needing cummins parts! They do not stock them! When you talk to the parts people they will tell you they can get the parts to you in a week or two then they will send you a email stating your parts are a month out and are on back order! When you call back the next day to cache you order they will tell you all cummins parts are non returnible even if you have not gotten your parts yet!!! They will tell you it says on there Web site all cummins parts are none returnible. There parts department well tell you one thing to get you to order from them then after you pay you get an email stating you can not get your parts for more then a month or more!!!Best to buy your cummins parts from China then this place!!!!! I guess suckers like me keep this places in business Bill
Having spoke with the girls and Jamie the owner of CPP I can assure you they are lying, cheating, stealing people. They took my money, shipped my product somewhere else other than my address and now ignore all my calls and emails. I've never been treated so poorly. They have so many complaints I have since found out that even the Better Business Bureau themselves give them an F rating.
I am not even getting into the details of the awful experience I had with this company. Only thing I can pass along is make sure if you have any problems with this company after you receive your order, thst you keep all order dates and emails as well as any important documentation that pertains to your order (you’ll need it to protect yourself from getting taken advantage by this company). Lastly, make sure you pay with a bank or debit card if you can cause they are usually better and faster with giving you back your money if there is a problem with your order than most credit card companies are and there also isn’t as in detailed of a dispute process with the bank either. Reason I even mention it is if you are requesting a refund from CPP, whether it’s your fault or theirs, you’ll never see it! These guys are cheats and have the worst customer service I have ever seen! For your own piece of mind, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Part was fine, Red Head steering box, but it took 8 weeks for me to get my core refund back, this was after they had received it.6 or 7 e-mails and 8 weeks later I finally have it back in my bank. Even though it's only $225, I think its very poor business for this to take so long. I will never buy from them again.
