Very disappointed.I love the fragrance Virgin Island Water and ran out, so I thought I would buy direct from Creed. I placed the order with next day delivery to receive a message from Fedex to say "Parcel was rejected". It was not rejected, in fact nobody had attempted delivery.I contacted Creed customer services within 5 minutes of receiving this message to be told "Well, if they will likely return to us and we will refund you when we receive it back". I explained that I do not want a refund, I simply want the item delivered to me, as that was the purpose of the purchase. She continued to be oblivious to my requirements and said that she would come back to me. 2 days later, no contact. I have the entire call recorded. Absolutely awful customer services and no attempt to resolve the situation when it could have been resolved in minutes, given the timescale in which I called
Bought a large bottle of aventus from Selfridges in Manchester early this year after trying their tester. The tester was excellent and lasted all day! The eau de parfum that I purchased the next day, although smelled great, barely lasted half an hour! I have to conclude that there’s a fundamental difference between the tester and the bottle as sold. Only realised that I wasn’t going daft after a chance spotting of a review of aventus detailing the same experience that I had, months later! Advice would be to check that the lot you’re buying is the same as the lot number on the tester! Buyer beware!!
The fragrance smells good when first sprayed but it's projection is so bad that no one will know you are wearing anything. Literally after 5 or so minutes it is gone. I ask friends and work colleagues if they like my fragrance and even pressing their faces against my neck they say they can't really smell anything.Terrible waste of money.Edit:Thanks for your reply, sadly as I brought it in Gatwick Airport, returning to the store for resolution is not possible. I am now stuck with an expensive and not very effective air freshener for the bathroom.
I just wasted £295 on this perfume it definitely not what it is used to be like. i purchased one from selfridges and compare to other creed aventus i have bought in the past the smell is not as strong or long lasting. i wish there is a way i can get my money back!!
I purchased a 50 ml bottle of Creed Aventus cologne for my wedding day fragrance - so I could have it as a lasting memory every time I wear it to remind me of my wedding however I have to say it was very disappointing - it lasted about an hour and my wife couldn't even smell it! - I tried it on my skin and jacket before I purchased it and it lasted all day and I could smell it on my jacket for days - but the product I got was nothing like this and for £200 I expected more - I wish I stuck to penhaligons as they are much better
I didn’t receive my creed and customer service is so bad you’re on hold forever trying to get through and when you do there so unhelpful, Even though there’s proof my parcel wasn’t delivered I’m still trying to get a refund over a month later Avoid creed
I bought a 100ml bottle of aventus £295 and a couple of weeks later a 100ml of erolfa at £245 out of Flannels at house of frazer in Belfast. I’m disappointed with both because I don’t think there’s a great smell of either and find the Chanel variations I’ve always used much more scented
