Review Time
I purchased Creed Wind Flowers for £260 on the 8th December 2022 from Harvey Nichols in Leeds.Unfortunately I’ve never been so disappointed in a perfume. Once I apply it, the scent disappears and no one has ever commented on my perfume or asked what I’m wearing.I’ve persevered throughout the year, wearing it, but the scent never gets noticed. I am very unhappy with Creed.
Feeling angry! Unfortunately I'm having to join all the other disgruntled customers. I've been wearing Aventus for the best part of 10 years now and have always loved it. However I bought this latest batch last month which I deliberately bought from a reputable retailer as I know there are fakes about and it was all sealed in the cellophane wrapping. I sprayed it on my wrist and immediately thought that doesn't even smell like aventus, so I sprayed some of my other old bottle that has a small amount left on to my other wrist and went about my day, I kept smelling both to see the difference and after bedding in the new one didn't improve and still didn't smell like Aventus and in fact like others have said after an hour I couldn't even smell it! The old one on the other wrist was still as strong as when I sprayed it in the morning right through to the evening, a completey different fragrance! The high notes on the new one are completely gone which is what makes aventus so distinctive. So after wasting all that money I'm really annoyed and like other people have said I won't be taking that risk again and risk wasting another load of cash on what is now a 30 quid bottle of rubbish!
Got bought some Creed Aventis for my B'day It had "gone of smell" & even that lasted not even 5minutes I got brought it from john Lewis took it back to the Creed counter for the lady to tell me there's nothing wrong with it, I have worn Aventis for 8 odd years so I knew it wasn't right, the store manager came over sprayed it my wrist & smelt it after a few minute & Zero smell eventually got a credit note but wont be buying Creed again sorry really gone down hill.....even emailed Creed to explain & got a not my problem mail back deal with John Lewis poor from Creed
I have wanted Aventus since smelling it some time ago at a local House of Fraser, then out of my price range it became an aspiration. As I became able to afford it, the opportunity came where my 6 month old son could buy it for me for my first Father’s Day gift - amazing. It was duly purchased coming through Dubai Airport Duty Free.Unfortunately, having now used it for 3 weeks, using 5-7 sprays across pulse points a clothes, I can say the item I purchased has zero projection (having asked colleagues and friends if they can smell anything on me to be told a flat ‘no’) and zero longevity (1-2 hours if I am lucky and my wife can’t smell it at all). I feel conned and after contacting Dubai Airport I would have to take it back there to be assessed so contacted Creed themselves. Now, I would think that Creed aspires to have a certain clientele at this significant price point. The support desk however has zero interest in helping the actual consumer, suggesting the “contract is with where you purchased, not us”. After reading the reviews on here just now I can only suggest that the company is getting ready to fold and is just extracting what it can before it does - product has failed, customer care has failed, prices have increased. My only remaining hope is that I may be able to save some others if they read this before purchasing, unlike me, and save their money from being wasted.
I have used this perfume in the past, great performance highly appreciated and just recently bought a new bottle directly from creed website. Disappointment is a small word to describe my experience. The perfume felt nothing like it used to be, it felt cheap and lasted only 2/3 hours. I called their customer service to complain but to my surprise they blamed me that I did not know how to wear a perfume and kept telling me how expensive ingredients they use for this perfume. My suggestion do not waste your £280 on this cheap product look around you will find better perfumes and customer service to make you feel more welcoming.
Is zero star possible? That's what creed deserves. From its products to its service. Not worth my money again. I bought a £265 bottle, took it for travel alongside other Fragrances. However creed completely emptied in flight,obviously due to poor quality of the seal. When I mentioned to Creed, they advised that NONE OF THEIR FRAGRANCES ARE FIT FOR AIRPLANE TRAVEL. That this is mentioned on their FAQ....such faq does not come with the product when we buy it so why not mention it on the box? And how do they export their products? Ridiculous!!!! Do not buy!!!!!
ITS A FRAUD!I blow £295! For Creed Aventus that last no more then 1 hour,much less then my eu de toilette or generic deodorants! It’s a big shame. Do not buy from creed fragrance just because you want the authentic one! Because you will waste your money will get frustrated and regret it very bad.I did try spraying on my left wrist a imitation of Creed Aventus and the “authentic one” (fraud) Creed Aventus metal cup on my right wrist… guess what? Right wrist 1 hour disappears completely. Imitation one which was very very similar last till next day after I took shower still was slightly there! Conclusion? Buy fake imitation just £30 and enjoy much more
I used to work for creed and they are very degrading and unreasonable. They come across friendly and helpful at first but I soon found out that this was just a show. They expect you to fork out for a full suit before you’ve even had your first pay check as they don’t provide a uniform. Yet if you wear all black this is unacceptable? When I explained multiple times I didn’t have the funds until after pay day I was humiliated and forced to walk the shop floor, looking at blazers that were over £200 and told if I didn’t buy it I had to go home. No training was provided to me and I was told by the line manager that I was inexperienced when I have over 10 years experience working on counters. Even though I was making money against last year sales (sometimes being over 300% up) I was still unable to hit their ridiculously high targets. Creed are all about making money, I wasn’t allowed to hand out samples or even books unless someone bought something and the perfumes aren’t great, they DO wear off very fast despite what they will tell you. Please if you are thinking of working or buying from here don’t-there are much better places that will value you!
