Review Time
***** UPDATE *****Following the below review which was at 2 stars I was contacted by the owner the next day who paid the money owed and sent me my documents - for this reason I have updated the review to 3 stars. It's still a real shame that it took posting here to get the matter sorted. I will add that the actual solar install that I had checked by an independent third party electrician is excellent and he was really impressed with the level of care and thought that has been put into install and the isolaters used - it's just a shame then that Deege are let down by their admin team.**** END UPDATE*****Gave 2 star because I did at least get solar panels installed.Avoid these - I only got them to finally come out and fit the panels after being cancelled 4 times by saying if they didn't show up this time that I would be cancelling the order.Broke a bunch of roof tiles whilst fitting the panels and have so far refused to pay for them - they have been given a deadline of Friday to pay and I suspect I'm going to have to take them to county court.Installation was 4 weeks ago, and I still do not have an MCS certificate or handover documentation, a compaint has now been raised with MCS themselves.Deege have stopped responding to my emailsDo yourselve a favour and find a company that gives a damn.
I originally had a quote a year prior where I was investigating water cooled solar panels, however this years quote - I was ready to progress, Rod's quote was great and detailed and we worked to get the solution I was happy with.An install date was earmarked - I did receive a phone message from Kate to say that she would provide support leading up to the project but unfortunately did not get her direct contact number so was unable to call back when I had further questions. Fortunately I dipped back to sales person Rod's details and got in contact with the firm that way therefore maybe a corporate Company signature and contact details on all emails would be handy! Then so it seemed, I heard nothing in the lead up to say it was still going ahead until I reached out and spoke with David who explained the installation plan and timeline (I later understood he was the MD). The overall job did overrun - but it was ok - combination of unfortunate traffic woes and the fact my house was a bit more than a standard construction house, so the electrical installation took longer. I feel the Company maybe doing a lot of business across the UK so I was pleasantly surprised my installation kept together in one job lot and not get delayed.Throughout the onsite activity, I found every single member of the onsite team to be fully professional, pleasant/courteous, hard working, tidy & efficient. David's enthusiasm for the solar industry and technology shines through his team members: Ritchie (roofer - very important job!), Johnny to assist Ritchie, Scott on the second day assisting David (although I understand Scott is the man to go to for all things technical support...), Tommy the sparky (he had quite a chunk of work to do - so spread over two days), Kate during the installation making sure I was happy at every stage and then finally concluded on the final day with Mick - to wrap it all up and make sure all things electronic spoke to all things electronic which subsequently provided me with the amass of information available through the online portal of the inverter manufacturer - I am still digesting the enormous quantity of data. The total experience to day one of being Plugged in to the sun is amazing, smashing and thoroughly content with the Deege Team. Thankyou. The first day of weather was cloudy overcast and rain... c'mon weather - let the sunshine in!Maybe I revisit a long term review after I have had time with the system.

Friendly service with great communication by both the installation team and the back room staff. They designed my system around all my needs and budgets. The installation was done over a few days of my choosing. They worked at a weekend to fit the job in so it fitted my shifts. Some of the kit installed was faulty (Not Deege Solars fault) and the guys got it remedied as fast as humanly possible. It’s been a pleasure dealing with them. A1 experience from start to finish. I’d highly recommend!

Thank you very much much to all at Deege. The whole process from start to to finish was made very easy and was done very professionally. There was always somebody on hand to help with any queries and we had many. The installation was very quick and the 4 guys (Mick, Tommy, Richie and Johny) were so friendly and did an amazing job. The fit was neat and tidy both the panels on the roof and the system in the loft. They removed all boxes etc. After it was complete we were talked through everything about how it all works. Kate kept calling to check everything was going to plan and to make sure it was all going smoothly.Thank you very much

We already had solar panels installed but we’re very troubled with pigeons. Deege installed the netting, the men were efficient extremely polite and tidy workers. Delighted to say we have no constant cooing now. Would highly recommend.
