Had the same driver twice unable to use a navigation system and find my address absolutely useless first time I managed to flag him down to get my stone cold food this time I refused to go out looking for him and received no food absolutely clueless requested a refund shocking service drivers with no navigation sense shambles.
I've been outside the delivery zone (by about 100ft!) for years and I placed first ever app food delivery order with Deliveroo this evening. I was so excited, and I went for KFC. The food arrived almost cold, the driver was not friendly. The delivery speed was decent and the order was accurate but I'm hugely disappointed. I've spent a decade or more envious of people who can order on these apps and now I know it's rubbish. Chips would be horrific.
First time ever trying this company and what a shambles it was first ordered waited 1 hour to be informed it wasn't going to deliver, second time with another company but also through deliveryroo it took away my £12 voucher when I had to cancel a order due to it being stuck in the process page complete waste of time I used Ubereats and that worked nice and easy and the delivery person even went above and beyond
I ordered a pizza through Deliveroo. The rider couldn't find my location, even though every other delivery rider never had a provlem. He eventually left the pizza on the mews behind my flat, took a picture of it, then marked it as delivered. I was able to get a full refund from Deliveroo after I rang them but the whole experience was not good.
I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!Food arrived 1 hour and 20mins late and I was told by 2 agents and 1 “Senior Agent” that the best they could do is refund me £2.49? What a joke. Food arrived cold and hard, a failure of service from their part, but they still took my money.
Just adding to the extensive number of poor reviews because of this company’s shocking customer service. They have allergens listed which are not accurate and when I raised this to customer service as I received food I could not eat they told me to take it up with restaurant. They are in charge of managing payments and the restaurant should not have been paid for listing incorrect information.
Really bad experience spoke to Deliveroo through the online chat regarding my experience I have been vomiting since eating from said restaurant they said just leave a review with said restaurant they said it’s ok we have solved the incident you can now leave the chat I said no it’s not I have eaten food that’s made me extremely sick
