My recent experience with Deliveroo has been shockingly bad. My food arrived open, which in my opinion is a serious hygiene and safety risk. When I contacted so called "customer service", their agents ended the chat almost immediately. Instead of helping, they told me I’ve made “too many claims” — but it is absolutely not my fault that their partnered restaurants and shops repeatedly send the wrong items, or that food is delivered undercooked, raw, squashed, or unsafe. I should not be penalised as a customer for problems that are completely outside my control.In my view, Deliveroo refuses to take responsibility for the condition of the orders they deliver, and I personally believe their handling of complaints falls far below what any reasonable customer should expect. To me, this is an awful, terrible company that does not value customer safety, fairness, or basic standards.Because of this experience, I will never use Deliveroo again, and I strongly feel that others should be aware of how poorly they treat customers.
this is the worst deliver service ever. they send your food on some silly push bikes and dont even send the right address. the customer service stinks as well, all they know to say is, sorry we are unable to help u this time after they deliver the wrong food or deliver it late and its cold. i had to go through my bank and get a refund because i ordered food and they delivered the wrong food and even though i showed them a clear picture that the food was wrong, they just said, sorry we cannot help you this time, we know this news may not be what u want to here and we understand that you may be upset but basically tough luck. dont use these, everyone delete the app and use ubereats or just eat instead. make deliveroo go out of business because all they will do is deliver your food cold or get lost with your food anyway. lucky you got one star.
Awful service from deliveroo customer service. Food arrived spilled, you can only upload 1 photo on the app to show the issue so have only been refunded £8 when I had to throw away £50 worth of food, milkshake had soaked all the food as it didn’t have a stand or separate bag. I have emailed & gone on their chat and am just being ignored. I had a team member called Vanessa contact me when it happened to state the £8 refund and if I had more photos, I sent these on and have been ignored ever since. The worst service I’ve ever received.
Terrible. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Ordered from Nando’s. They obviously started to prepare my order before they got a driver. It took 1 hour to assign a driver. Then obviously longer for him to deliver. Food arrived stone cold. I complained on the app and nothing! No acknowledgment! No offer of any sort of refund! They clearly don’t care! I won’t be using again.
