My food arrived cold again because the rider had another delivery on the way. I don’t have a microwave so the meal ended up in the bin. I complained and was issued with a 40 pence refund against a £21 order. This delivery service is a disgrace and don’t deserve to be in business. Avoid like the plague
Long wait for delivery and cold food, chips like cardboard, requested money back which was denied, I made payal dispute which also found in thier favour, the food can arrive cold and unedible and they dont want to hear about it, AVOID!
Absolute scam of a business. Ordered 2 meals. Only one meal was delivered which I refused to take delivery of. Due to wanting to eat together. Was told by the restaurant to contact Deliveroo for a refund. Sent all the necessary evidence. To be told I won’t be getting a refund. I will be writing to the better business bureau. Absolute joke of a business. Who’s running this? Kids? Ridiculous behaviour. Please do not use Deliveroo. Use a different delivery company. Absolute poor customer service and are only out to rob people’s money.
I ordered from Papa John’s Pizza and left very clear instructions for the driver to leave the food in an enclosed porch because it was a freezing day (about 3 degrees Celsius). My kitchen is currently out of service so I can’t reheat anything, which made it essential that the order arrived hot, and why I ordered in the first place.The driver ignored the instructions and left the food outside the front door by the driveway, where it could have been taken by anyone. By the time I picked it up—about five minutes later—it was already cold. I for one absolutely hate cold pizza. I raised this with Deliveroo and, despite the meal costing around £17, I was given just a £3 refund.As a Deliveroo Plus member, this is really disappointing and makes it unlikely that I’ll continue using the service. Uber Eats has consistently handled refunds far better in situations like this. If I could add screenshots I would.
My order took 81 min to arrive (which exceeded the max delivery time); due to this, my order arrived cold and I had to spend more time to reheat it. This is unacceptable, and on top of that they didn't even offer a partial refund or credit.
I have deleted the app. Such a shame that a company which started on such wonderful model has fallen as a result of poor management and partnership limitations. I have had one to many AI apologies.Goodby Deliveroo. I hate to see companies fail - but it’s clear you are gone.
Sick of getting cold food from deliveroo drivers with attitude, when I complain you get like £2 back i told them just keep it I'm deleting my account, which ive done! Don't bother with this service find another alternative food delivery service.
