Scammers, I ordered food for three people, including a 6-year-old. My order arrived in a small bag with menus missing for the child and my partner. I filed a complaint, but they told me I didn't have enough evidence to pursue my claim. The result? A scumbag at the customer service center shut down my chat in my face, with no regard for those who received missing items after paying and thanking them, leaving a 6-year-old child starving and out of £25. Shame on you, I'll report this to the Antitrust Authority.
Ridiculous service. Paid for next door Wagamama's two ramens, received the order after 1 hour 30 minutes! Frozen. No broth at all as noodles absorb it due the time of the delivery. One of the ramen's has been spilled our inside the paper bag, have got it wet and fatty. The supper mood was ruined. As s cherry on a cake received a partial refund - on a £3 less than their confirmation email promised. I won't use this service any more and will delete the account.
I ordered groceries from Sainsbury’s. Over 2 hours later the driver from deliveroo knocked my door and said that when he went to get my order another delivery person had picked it up. So I asked him why he came if he did not have the groceries he then asked for the delivery no, which I gave him thinking it would help to get my groceries. He kept saying the groceries were on the way. He said I should call Sainsbury’s - they said they took no responsibility and I should call Deliveroo. Deliveroo were adamant they would take no responsibility as I gave the code to the driver and they were of not going to do anything even though they knew who the thief, Khalid, was. Customer service provided a very frustrating and unpleasant interaction! Needless to say I will never use them in the future. Too many people have had a bad experience with them. They need to be prevented from doing business. Stealing is against the law!
Absolute bunch of idiots who can't even check their own app error. We had a split delivery which is normal with 5-10min interval. But they only assigned it to 1 rider and he only had 4 dishes out of 11 we ordered and when we called deliveroo they sent another rider so there was a gap or more than 40min between deliveries. They told me to wait until the 2nd rider comes and complain. When i complained, they say my order got delivered in time!
If I could put zero I would! Drivers car has broken down and I’m being told by customer services to wait until it’s fixed and then accept the order and to eat my stone cold freezing food. If I am then not happy I have to go on the app and request options on what to do next! Brilliant customer services right there. Never will order via you again. Disgusting experience
Absolutely rubbish! Ordered Pizza Express food for the children as a treat and received burnt dough balls. Reported it to them, told me to speak to Deliveroo spoke with Deliveroo uploaded photos, they agreed however wouldn’t do anything! I had to throw away the food away and feed the children something else! Joke!
Deliveroo customer service is a joke.They’re basically just a broker.They simply are only interested in getting money very little else,I ordered food only to find out in tiny writing below that that restaurant delivers themselves & it’s not deliveroo !! If I’d known this information then I’d have ordered directly with the restaurant & not use a fee taking delivery service!! I only found out thanks to the restaurant taking 45 minutes longer than the estimated delivery time to deliver !! Finding someone to speak to was near impossible!! And when I did I was spoken down to like I was scum by the Deliveroo representative. Utterly pathetic customer service
I felt very unwell after ordering from a regular restaurant I have ordered from in the past, i was treated with patience and kindness from a customer service member and refunded the entire amount of the order and my query was resolved in less than 20 minutes. I have been and will continue being a loyal customer deliveroo after this service too I would highly recommend them.
