my customer service agent was Jay Patel. I found him extremely professional and helpful. All of my questions were answered in a constructive way that aimed to solve any issues. I enjoyed my experience with costumer service at drivalia. The emails i have received are practically structured.
Good service but unexpected insurance costs when picking up the car I had to pay 503 pounds for car insurance when picking up the car and that was twice more than the car rental price and I think that is very high I paid a total of 900 euros for car rental for 7 days which I think is very expensive
I was a bit dubious about Drivalia at first. This was not because of them, but I had never heard of them before, and the last time I rented a car in Scotland, visiting family, and not with them, it was a drama. I had missed closing time by 4 minutes, and when I called the next day, 2 minutes after they opened, they didn't give me a car, but kept 2 weeks rental money. Again, to be clear, this was not with Drivalia. But it definitely made me very wary of renting a car again. However, when I contacted Drivalia I was pleasantly surprised by the very quick responses every time from Jay Patel. I reserved a car and was asked to leave a review. I said I would but only afterwards,being still a bit suspicious. It is afterwards and Drivalia has restored my faith. When we arrived in Glasgow and called, we were picked up in 10 minutes, were given a brand new car and sent on our way. We made sure the car was left spotless and within 20 minutes we were back on our way to the airport. The driver both ways was very friendly. The guy doing the paperwork could have been a bit more helpful as I was still waiting to hear all was well, and maybe receive paperwork, while he had moved on to other jobs. But he was efficient at least. I will be going back to Drivalia for our next visit home. And Jay Patel. You were very helpful and deserve a 5 star too.
