Worst customer service

I have experienced the worst ever customer service from Emirates this evening.I made a genuine mistake in selecting the departure on one of the flights and called them, literally after pressing the payment button. Their attitude was sorry but to make the correction it will be considered as a change and wanted to charge me over £200!I am their Skyward member ! And this is how they treat their loyal customers!I will probably never fly Emirates again !!!

Paid premium, got baggage chaos and silence from customer service

I flew Amsterdam → Christchurch via Dubai with Emirates for the first time and had a very poor experience.• IT / check-in failure: My dad and I share the same name and Emirates’ website/IT couldn’t handle it — no online or kiosk check-in and selected seats were lost. This caused unnecessary delays and hassle at the airport.• Baggage failure: Two of three checked suitcases were left in Dubai. We reported them at Christchurch and I can track them with AirTags: one suitcase arrived in Christchurch a few days later, the other is still in Dubai. Emirates hasn’t contacted us and customer service only tells us to “wait.” We had to buy clothes and toiletries because of the delay.• Customer service & accountability: Responses from Emirates have been slow or non-existent; being told delayed bags “might not fit” on a flight is not an acceptable excuse for luggage that should have traveled with us.Bottom line: For the price we paid this is unacceptable. I’m very dissatisfied and — unless things change — I won’t choose Emirates again (unfortunately we still have to fly them home).

cancellation of flights with no regard for your customers

Emirates cancelled our flights back from Madagasca to UK on 4th October with no just cause. We paid for these flights months in advance and we were left abandoned on Madagasca and had to seek help from another airline to get home. NO OFFER OF REFUND . Just a Hope you can claim it back off your travel insurance note . Absolute bastards.

Travelled from LA to Dubai with an infant, I booked business specifically to feel comfortable and have space during the flight as I was alone It was terrible the bassinet so poorly designed taking up all the space making it hard to come in and out of the seat it’s positioned so high also very inconvenient if you have an infant don’t waste your money and book business with Emirates

“Emirates is not what it used to be – rude staff, unfair baggage rules, and damaged luggage”

Emirates Review – Deeply Disappointed After YearsAfter almost 20 years, I decided to fly with Emirates again — from Manchester to Dubai — and I must say, it was an extremely disappointing experience. The airline is simply not what it used to be.At check-in, I faced a ridiculous situation regarding my luggage. My allowance was 25 kg for checked baggage and 7 kg for carry-on. I only had 2.5 kg extra in total, and instead of allowing me to pay for the small excess weight or purchase an additional carry-on, the check-in agent rudely insisted that it was not possible because “the flight is full.”She gave me only two unfair options: • Pay £175, which is completely unreasonable for such a small excess, or • Remove one of my carry-on bags entirely.After a long and stressful argument, I had no choice but to throw away one of my bags at the airport to avoid missing the flight. To make things worse, when I arrived in Dubai, I found that my expensive Delsey suitcase was cracked and damaged — it looked like it had been roughly handled.Honestly, I expected far better service and flexibility from Emirates, especially given their reputation for premium care. The way the staff handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and disappointing.After this experience, I can confidently say Emirates is no longer the airline it once was. I truly hope management takes feedback like this seriously because loyal customers like me are leaving with frustration instead of satisfaction.

I’m shocked by the lack of response…

I’m shocked by the lack of response from Emirates after an incident on my business class flight EK019. A crew member spilt red wine on my cream Chloé handbag, worth £1,000. The supervisor took photos and promised to file a report. I emailed Customer Relations right after the flight and received a read receipt — yet two weeks later, I’ve had no reply whatsoever.For a premium airline, this level of customer service is disgraceful. Accidents happen, but being completely ignored is unacceptable. I expected far better from Emirates and hope they take responsibility and contact me urgently to resolve this.

We have faced check-in queues exceeding…

We have faced check-in queues exceeding one hour just to drop our baggage.The fares do not reflect this inefficient and frustrating ground experience. Unlike other carriers, Emirates does not seem to offer a viable, streamlined process for simple baggage drop, which has become a standard we expect.

Absolute worst customer service on the phone and on the plane. The airplanes are rundown and old. Do yourself a favour and pay a little extra and use a different airline.
