I had a positive experience with Raisin for over a year and used their platform with one linked account. Unfortunately, a recent situation led me to close my account.I received an email requiring me to upload a bank statement to verify my ownership of the same account I had been using since the beginning. The request raised concerns because it mirrored how scams typically operate—emails with links asking for sensitive information. To be cautious, I went directly to Raisin’s website and contacted customer service for confirmation.I uploaded a statement with my name, address, and account information visible, but I redacted the last few digits of my account number. Shortly afterward, I was told that this was not acceptable, even though the original email said a full or partial account number was fine. When I provided a screenshot of their instructions, I was told new requirements—that the ending digits specifically must be visible. The conflicting guidance, combined with the insecure-feeling process, undermined my trust. If Raisin is acting as a financial institution, their communications and processes around sensitive document uploads should be clearer, consistent, and handled in a way that does not resemble phishing tactics.I regret having to close my account, as I enjoyed using Raisin before this incident. But clearer, safer, and more transparent handling of sensitive information is essential for customer trust.
Rowan!!!! Top notch customer service rep!!!! Super helpful and provided a solution to my issue. These are by far the best cups I have found (and I've tried a lot of different varieties!) I recommend this brand to everyone and always buy as present for new littles! Please keep doing what you do! Your company and representatives have this customer service and excellent products down to an art! Thank you again Rowan for your help!
This is a scam. Accepted all my books and never sent payment. Have tried numerous times and merely tell me they paid. No proof. No follow up. Scam.Have requested assistance from customer service a dozen times. They just claim the monies were paid with no proof.
Just today discovered that $220,000 I transferred into a Western Alliance high-yield savings account using Raisin.com has been sitting in a Raisin cash account for ten freaking days. And therefore not earning any interest. It's a Saturday during the long Labor Day weekend, so ZERO live customer support until Tuesday? Seriously? The chat is absolutely useless. When it can't provide answers to simple questions, it asks if you need a live agent. Then when you say yes, for the love of god give me a live agent, the chat tells you tough luck, nobody available until Monday. In this case, probably Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday. Why ask if the customer wants a live agent if you can't actually provide a live agent? A simple if-else-then statement could check for what day it is, and then offer a live agent depending on the day of the week. The fact that Raisin's developers aren't even competent enough to do a day-of-the-week check before asking if you want a live agent suggests pretty shoddy programming skills. On a site that's handling large sums of money, that's a huge red flag for me.
