Review Time
I booked a flight, realized that when I followed the link to the website, the dates were changed. When I tried to correct it, the correct dates were not available. I was charged 80% of the cost of the flight for cancellation 20 minutes after the flight was booked. I was able to find the right flight on a competitor's website but not on this one. I understand that I messed up too, but why advertise that you can get the flight dates when you can't?
you booked the wrong ticket and no one will respond on chat. SCAM company. I went to google flights found a flight. There were several links ( expedia, booking.com, budgetair, etc). I click on budget air and booked it. When I got my confirmation it was the wrong flight and no way to change or cancel because you have to use the chat to communicate. I tried the chat several times waited in the que for an hour each time only be kicked out of the chat right before my turn. SCAM SCAM SCAM
I made a mistake on the spelling of my name on the ticket, so it wouldn't match my passport. After waiting my turn in the chat queue, there was no way to get it adjusted, so even same day, I had to cancel with only a portion of my payment refunded. The response from budget air was that since I had made contact with them, would I update to a positive review. Well, budget air, refund me completely and I will be happy to amend my one star review.
The customer service person I spoke with earlier today was very nice - answered the line for “Consolidator for Budget Air”. I called to clarify why my CC charge said Budget Car Rental instead of Budget Air. Hee informed me that the total billed to me for my flight, which hasn’t been confirmed even though I did get an email saying it was and that the charge would then switch to Budget Air and then informed me that there would be an additional charge of $150 for “common taxes” like airport fees. That should have been shown when I booked. I’ve never booked with Budget Air and other airlines I’ve booked with show the complete total I’ll be charged before I finish the booking.
It was very easy to make my bookings and everything is visible and explainable .One thing I would like to mention, that it felt the price for chekin Baggage was expensive .I was charged $71 can.,and it was offering as a 30% less then going at the airport .At airport is arround that price between $55-$77.That what i checked on the WestJet website.
great deal for my flight. found the same itenerary for a cheaper price than other pages and with more perks included in the price. Options for additional benefits were easily available and understandable throughout the checkout process. Will definitely use for my upcoming flights.
