I am having problems with Eneco, ever day I see in the app difference prices for gas, en de heating is de same temperature( just go home for sleeping). I called them and said about app is not going well. Does anyone tried to suits them by legal way, because I wanna do.They are charging huge amounts.
Horrible customer service, spent a lot of time waiting to reach a person, who then before I can speak hangs up the phone. 2nd attempt I was put on hold immediately only to have the connection broken after 19 minutes. Finally reached someone, and they were unable to answer my question. Eneco has monopoly over city-heating in my area but are failing at competently running their business side of things. Installed a smart meter under the guise of convenience, but the smart meter only registers heating, not warm tapwater, meaning I still have to manually send in meter readings. Months later, the “smart meter” still is not able to send the usage data to my account, so I still have to send in both heating and warm tapwater usage.
I've been a customer for almost 20years. I just wanted to have the date of my final calculation been shifted to now instead of may, because of the maximum rates that will apply for gas consumption up to 1200m3. Having the final calculation in may makes it very unfair since there is a big chance that more than 1/3 of the max 1200m3 will be used in that first 1/3 of the year (=winter=most of the yearly consumption). So I will exceed the max consumption for 1/3 of the year when final calculation comes and part of my consumption will be charged higher rates.I called Eneco to explain that, but according to them it was impossible to move that date. So I asked the girl: if I move to another energy provider next month, I will get my final calculation right? Is it then the only way? She answered yes haha. She did try to convince me that i should be okay if I used as little as possible. That is somehow quite funny. Bye eneco, I don't have a shade of regret going after 20y and obviously neither have you, I guess you won enough money over my back.
Terrible customer service. I signed up for boiler maintenance, but it is impossible to use the service. I was left waiting in line for 40 minutes then the call was dropped. It looks like a scam, as you pay for a service you can never use.
