Can't reach customer support

Wanted to cancel my contract, that is forced down my throat. I dont want to pay even a month to these guys. Can't even reach customer support. On a Friday morning.... Very bad experience even within the first 30 minutes of dealing with this company

Poor communication-bad service

I moved to a new house and I wished to make a contract for stadsverwarming. I called eneco and arranged this. What they did was cancel my existing energie contract and arrange another energy contract in its place. Now, I have no contract for stadsverwarming and I am being charged a fine of 150EUR for not arranging this. It took me an hour with the customer service to even understand this. After paying this fine, I am informed that they will call me sometime (no specific date or time) to arrange the new stadsverwarming contract. This was absolutely the worst experience that I have had dealing with an energy company.

Worst Service offered by Eneco ketel comfort

I made my initial request on September 22nd, 2021 for the issue on the CV ketel, even after these many days and many follow-ups, I don't have a functioning one, I am seriously fed up with the service offered by Eneco KetelComfort , Customer care team advised that there will be a call back to fix an appointment within today and there is no callback yet. When will this be fixed ? WE DO NOT HAVE WORKING HOT WATER AT THE HOME, AND DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER TO SCHEDULE A CALL BACK OR ADDRESS THE ISSUE

They are not professional company

They are not professional company. They will keep changing meter reading and invoice. I received multiple final statements and they just wanted to rip me off. I got the last invoice ( hope it was last ) after 2 month of vacating my previous home. Now obviously in last statement they said they made mistakes in calculations and they want me to pay for their mistakes. Now i have multiple final statements and I am confused which one to consider. Now I no longer live in old house to check meter reading.Beware if you are dealing with this company.highly disappointed.

Eneco sold my data after cancelling my contract

Eneco came to my door a few years ago trying to get me to switch my contract. They told me I'd lower my monthly rate if I switched to them. I did and signed the contract, but when I got the e-mail it turned out the people had the door were misinformed or willfully lied to me. Luckily I could cancel. But the absolute worst thing is that they sold my data to scammers. They didn't write down my name correctly so I am 100% it was them. Even years later I keep getting scammer calls mentioning the incorrect name. Of course I e-mailed Eneco but they just keep telling me they didn't sell my data. Very curious to know how else the scammers would have gotten that data and incorrect name??

Mixed experience - CV ketel maintenance

Positive points: Monteur was professional and helped me not only with CV ketel, but also responded to other connected questions that I have.Negative point 1: Monteur should have come in the time slot between 11:00 and 14:00, but came at around 14:15-14:20, when I had a work meeting.Negative point 2: Monteur entered in the system that he was at my address for 2 hours, while actually was not more than 1 hour. For this I was charged x2 of the actual contract amount! When I contacted the client service to discuss this, they said that they see that he spent almost 2 hours and my address and can not help me with it. Customer service also confirmed that no travel time should be included (only effective presence at my address). It is a shame that an experience with such a known company as eneco starts with so easily spotted differences and that the client can not really do anything about it!

I think this company should be closed

I think this company should be closed, because they are thieves! We made a contract with them, luckily ending this year! We pay them every month for nothing, as since we have them they have never been available to come to our house to check our central heating. This year our central heating was making a noise and we called them as emergency and came a guy to our warehouse and did nothing, the only thing he did was to say that we had a very bad heating brand, ATAG, which I found out that it is a very good brand, but their incompetent technician said it was not good. Also, since we have them our electricity bills are higher, although we have solar panels. Please, do not make any business with this company, they are the worst company I have ever seen!Best regards,Customer of Eneco

TRASH!

TRASH company!! The absolutely worst It’s been 5 months now and NO ONE WILL FIX MY PROBLEM!Avoide like the plague! They can’t own up to their own mistakes

Extremely disappointing

Rating: DreadfulDate: 15 February, 2021 Me: I should switch to Eneco as my energy provider (April 2020)Eneco: Welcome to Eneco. Would you also be interested in switching to our CV ketel subscription that is cheaper then your current provider and that happens to be an Eneco subsidiary? Me: Yes, I am interested. Please switch my provider. Eneco: Okay. You will first need a CV ketel inspection. Me: The CV ketel was serviced 4 months ago by your subsidiary Energiewacht and we are in a pandemic. We’d prefer no visitors to undertake unnecessary maintenance. Eneco: You must plan an inspection. Me: We don’t think it is sensible at this moment in time. You could contact your subsidiary and ask for the records from December’s inspection (5 months earlier). 
Eneco: Okay, call back in the fall and plan an inspection. Me: Okay. 4 months go by…..Me: Hi, I would like to schedule an inspection. Eneco: Okay, I am not able to schedule it for you but I will have a link sent to you so you can schedule an inspection. Me: Thank you. 4 months go by…Me: Hi, I called in October and I am waiting on a link that will allow me to schedule an inspection of my CV ketel. Eneco: Sorry. We will try and get that sorted. And a reminder that your CV ketel is not insured until there is an inspection although you will continue to pay a monthly fee. Me: Okay, can you please allow me to organise an inspection? Eneco: We will resolve your issues. 1,5 months go by….Me: Hi, I want to cancel my contract and want cancellation fees to be waved on the grounds that Eneco is not providing necessary services in a timely manner in-spite of payment for services. And I want to be refunded monthly payments on the grounds that if an inspection does not take place then we are not insured and if we are not insured then there is no service in effect. Eneco: You can cancel but there will be a cancellation fee. Because you cancelled the initial planned inspections in May we reserve the right to not immediately provide a service when it is requested and therefore we have met the terms and conditions of the contract. Me: But I called in October and January and still have never received a response as to when I can plan an inspection. How can it be argued that after 5 months of no opportunities provided to plan an inspection that Eneco can say it has fulfilled the terms and conditions? Eneco: Its in the fine print. Eneco sympathises and yes we could of managed this all better but a cancellation fee will still need to be paid and we will not refund your payments. Me: I will write this up on social channels and take you to court. Eneco: We dont care. 4 hours goes by….Me: I find the contract and find nothing in the fine print that mentions that an initial inspection must be carried out. Nor that if an inspection does not take place in the window that Eneco demanded that it provides them with carte blanche as to when the next inspection should take place. Me: Our contract ends in 2 months. Will Eneco negotiate a resolution? Eneco: .......J. Kuiper

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Spoke to 3 people who couldn't solve one simple problem, and one of them was so incompetent, he was talking over me and not even trying to help, an even blaming me and saying that it was basically my own problem and not his problem. Do not trust this company AT ALL and will never go near them again with a 10-foot pole.
