Get 2 fines from London traffic. Both shown a fine of GBP 65,00 if I pay within 14 days. To help for easy payment ,so they say, they give us the amount in our curreny Euro.That means both amounts should be same. But 1 shows an amount of Euro 80,21 and the other an amount of 95.73 ! I claimed that by email. They give me response, that the case is stopped during they clarify. After 1 week I got the answer that my claim was denied. So I paid the Euro 95,73. But now they want GBP 150,00Because the paymenttime is overdue eventhough they wrote that the case is stopped during the time of clarification. So I phoned them and asked for German operator. The girl on the other end spoke only bad english and didn't understand anything. I shall get an email next day.As all others befor me I agree, this company are scammers.
Absolute vermin!!!!This company makes it difficult to understand their toll system.I had no idea that I'd actually gone through a toll in Dublin where I was driving for the first time. No letter received till I'd unknowingly missed the payment date and had a £49.50 charge added. Total scammers! Bad karma comes to bad people...How can you sleep at night??
I had a letter confirming I had a refund due. Reason was they had me as a lorry and actually I was in a car trailing a boat. The web site only offers me to put in sort and account number not iban and swift. Phoned and they said I will get a email in 24 hrs. Not had the refund or email. To update on my review. After confirming all my bank details as requested by them they have now informed me that the refund was to my credit card not my bank. Having checked it has been done so will update my star rating.
We were absolutely incensed and outraged to receive a letter informing us of a fine for using the M50 toll road in September. We paid cash at an Applegreen services on our way there. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the receipt never expecting this to happen. We paid the fine because I know we would be bombarded with threatening letters until the end of time. Obviously there’s something very badly wrong with the system. This was our first time to us the toll road and we will NEVER,EVER use it again.
Used the M50 in Dublin paid on line before I even left the M50 paid the same amount as all other tolls got a letter saying toll wasn't paid tryed to contact them to no avail them got fined 52 euros because I was 1.60 euro short tryed appealing but they rejected it . This company is a scam oufit .
Anothrer one with a demand for a toll in Portugal. Initial request showed a picture of a piece of tarmac. When challenged I've been sent pictures with doctored registration plates! Not even smart enough to get that right! For those interested, their managing director's email is easy to find if you just google it. See how he likes being sent these demands! BTW - "Epc Plc has no legal authority to enforce the payment of penalty notices in the UK, unless they obtain a court order from the country where the alleged offence took place"
In 2022, I bought a 3-day toll pass that allowed me unlimited drive through Portugal tolls. In July 2024, I received a message from this company with a fine. The thing is, my pass was valid from August 17th to 19th, and the date for the fine was August 18th.Since then, I have opened three complaints, showing proof that the fine is incorrect and that I was legitimately circulating through tolls. However, they have ignored all evidence. They "accepted" removing the fine, but still want me to pay for the tolls on that day, referencing a "technical failure" that is definitely not on my side since I paid a full amount at the time.Clearly this company is not doing their job, as they do not take into account any evidences you present and just keep bothering you to pay (without providing any evidence themselves). Additionally, it is quite hard to solve any issue if you are not based in the UK. I cannot call them without incurring in ridiculous charges, and they take weeks to answer to the complaints opened through their website. Edit: In response to the company's comment, I already sent an e-mail to that address on the same day I posted this review (of course, no answer yet).
How low of there business model to make some bucks with hidden cams. i got scammed in Hungary 2 times by EPCplc. no record mentioned for what the speeding tickets are issued. Just take pictures of random cars and con the owners with money, and if you dont pay it will quadruple in 2 months. its blackmailing under legal cover. shameless scammers
