Worst Company to Deal with - I have my toll paid for and then several months later they send you a standard toll request. You would nearly think they wanted you to delete the email or evidence to show you paid. Then once you have given the case number, the reg number, the evidence, the dates everything they send it to another department - urgently! then they tell you that you will get an answer in 40 days time!!! i travelled on the m50 in Ireland but because im from the North of Ireland i have to deal with a different company!! In future i think a detour around our beautiful Isle will be the answer compared to dealing with this absolute joke of a company!!
One star since there is no zero! Some time ago (3 or four years back) I received a penalty notice (months after my trip) for alleged none payment of toll on the Dublin M50. Luckily I was able to retrieve a receipt showing I had paid. I got a reply back stating my campervan was wrongly classified as a much heavier vehicle (no apology) and this was the reason for the error. This year I got another penalty notice (this being the next time a journey took me on the M50 around Dublin) and thinking the same had happened I contacted E Flow then EPC by their circuitous pathways, asking if the same thing had happened, and got a reply saying I had not paid and the penalty started increasing. There was no reference to my query regarding previous errors on their part. Further communication by me (by registered post) included supplying details of my van as per tax book, and details of penalty notices (indicating a much heavier vehicle such as an articulated lorry, with a correspondingly more expensive charge applied) which clearly showed the same mistake had happened again. They reduced the penalty which I have now paid to get these bully-boy parasites off my back. At no time have they attempted to answer my queries. Letters to E Flow have been ignored. It seems they have ignored the facts of this case which I have outlined at length. Is my small camper still wrongly classified? MORAL - KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE SLAVES TO THE COMPUTER WHICH SAYS NO!! Truly awful customer relations.
I was driving Hyngari in October I have vignett D1 for car and trailer and in December I get letter is say you don't have vignett D1 so you must pay 1300 kronor.i send pictures to Epcplc with payed vignett.i am working night shift for that money and Somebody wanna take money for nothing. it's not okay.
I was driving in Portugal as a German who is living in Sweden. Letter arrived in Sweden - so far so good. It seemed I should pay for road tolls in Portugal, but during the extremely mindless conversation through their website, I had to find out that it was not about road tolls, but a violation against the road traffic regulations. What kind of violation, I have no idea and they don't tell. The fine mainly was a late fee while the actual fine was the least part of the sum. When I wanted to pay, I found that EPCPLC has no IBAN number. Nowhere on their website, not in the letter, not in the conversation. I then asked several times for an IBAN bank account number as I am not a Swede and I cannot make a bank transfer to a swedish Bankgirot number. The company should know about this, and when taking a huge contract, they should know that there may be people living in Sweden who are not Swedes. But it was like talking to a stupid chatbot. They repeatedly wrote the same nonsense but still no IBAN number.Welcome to 2024, where international companies take over and act like chatbots with zero intelligence. Now we have October 2024 and I still cannot pay if I wanted to get rid of these nuts. ;)Let's see what the Swedish and the German lawyers and authorities will say.Oooh, and NO, I will not write any more emails to EPC, it's totally useless.Case number: 35105-99575593
I Have a County Court judgement AND a Warrant of Execution against this company. Their UK registered address is just a mailbox office and they will not engage or pay the money they owe me.Astonishingly this is a UK FTSE 250 listed company that operates like a firm of car clamping cowboys. Any business that uses them to secure their outstanding fines should be deeply ashamed of themselves.
On a recent holiday driving through Europe, I bought vignettes for every country that required one. After my return I received a PCN a couple of months later, for not having a valid vignette for driving on the toll roads in Hungary.I checked and I had bought a vignette, with the correct registration details of my car. Further examination showed they had entered the country code as RO (not UK), which I presumed at the time was the country I was arriving from. It was their clerical error, for which I now have to pay.As far as I was concerned I had done everything correctly; bought a vignette and checked the registration, which is all that is required in every other country.I have appealed providing evidence, but heard nothing back, unsurprisingly. Under duress I have now paid, but reading other peoples reviews, I will not be surprised if they claim I haven't paid. This is literally highway robbery - at least Richard Turpin wore a mask! (I had to change the name because of inappropriate language)
Being British Id wait until you get a small claims letter from UK as most of the driver details data were stolen from various European Countries - see "Hundreds of thousands of EU citizens ‘wrongly fined for driving in London Ulez" The Guardian. Today 19 September 2024 TFL have a cyber attack (no just incompetence) so no-one can pay congestion charges or any fines if you need to pay, nor travel - Oyster shows down for maintenance/Congestion charge shows CYBER attack. 14:22 or 2.44pm
