It’s rare I leave a review for anything but I feel so strongly about Epson ! Absolute disgusting customer service you get from Epson. I have been a customer a few years now and started with the readyprint subscription, so far into it they kept saying there was a problem with my few quid monthly payment, everytime I tried re-submitting my card to pay it wouldn’t let me and then they kicked me off my plan even though the problem was at their end, I found out why though… Because I had to start a new subscription for less pages but the same monthly cost ! I did this because they would not discuss and blatantly said I had to start a new subscription but they have you where they want you once you have purchased a printer from them. Now I have just moved house and had to change my bank account address aswell as name at the same time and the payment didn’t go through, so they have sent me an email saying they will try to take the payment again in the 12th March but I’ve gone to try pay it earlier and they have kicked me off my plan again, and guess what, you guessed it, I have to start a new subscription at a higher price for less pages again ! It’s not even about the few quid a month, it’s the principle ! They are sneaky and deceptive! It’s the injustice of it. And you can NEVER get through to speak to someone on the phone ! I’ve tried 3 numbers this morning and none ring out ! An absolute nightmare of a company to deal with ! Honestly, don’t buy from them, go elsewhere! I begrudge starting a new subscription now and would rather smash the printer up with a hammer than give them another penny.

Absolutely disgusted by Epson and their…

Absolutely disgusted by Epson and their control over a printer we purchased! We bought the printer and signed up for an ink ready plan which gave us 15 pages of prints per month for a monthly fee , we were not printing very often so cancelled the ink plan to find out that the printer won't work now without us buying more cartridges directly from them! Money down the drain, and an absolute con!!!

Don't sign up to Epson Ready Print

Signed up to Epson Ready Print so i never ran out of Ink - well i did and it took 5 days to get the cartridge to me so had to buy one to get me through. This service is meant to monitor your ink and despatch them so you never run out. I then cancelled the subscription to the service as it was a joke and i have worked out that i have spent twice as much than if i carried on with buying my own. They stopped my machine working till i replaced all cartridges with others purchased from Amazon. I now have 3 half used cartridges (i had only run out of Black ink) and a set of unopened ones which technically i have paid for but cannot use. Don't sign up, it is a rip off.

Epson made a compain with cash backThey do t provide it and instead asks for extra Info which is already provided and they don’t send email with their extra requirements till the time of the compain expires

Awful printers

Awful printers. Recently started using one, worst experience with a printer for a while and that is saying something. Expensive, built in redundancy, claims of superior quality when it just prints the same as any printer in the last 15 years seems. Essentially a scam.

No customer service

Epson claim to have dispatched cartridges (and taken £200 from my card) but UPS don’t have them- tracking still shows only label printed. Customer Services are diabolical- still saying they ‘will ask UPS to investigate’ when it’s clear that they’ve never been given them. I’m never buying another Epson printer

Paying for ink subscription and not recieving any ink!

Absolutely appalling customer service. I moved house over a year ago and despite contacting them by email and phone on multiple occasions I am still being charged for ink I have not received. They are stealing my money! I have spent hours trying to sort the issue and have got absolutely nowhere. Avoid like the plague!!!

Customer Service Non Existent

I bought an Epson printer from John Lewis. There was a £50 cashback promo at the time. Applied. Hadn’t heard from them or received the money. Spent a long time trying to find a customer service number or helpdesk in order to establish what the delay was. Eventually found ‘track my order’ on the website and discovered that my request had been declined. Managed to find a phone number, explained what had happened. A guy sent me a link that had nothing to do with my issue. Finally found the page that I needed to have a second go at sending the claim and guess what? I’d exceeded the time to make a claim. This is automation gone mad. Customer services is non-existent and, when you do reach someone, incompetent.I wish there was a happy ending to this saga. Further to posting the above a lovely lady from ‘customer services’, listened to my gripe and said she would recommend that I receive my £50. ‘Just give us 30 days’ (not unreasonable). 5 weeks later I’m still waiting. Even when this company has an opportunity to reverse a bad review they fail miserably.

I have used Epson printers for more…

I have used Epson printers for more than 10 years and find them excellent value for money. I am not technically mind so to get the previous printers to go wireless was a problem. Now it seems there is a way of just putting in your IP address rather than messing about with ghz is fantastic. Gone wireless now.
