Printer was OK until I changed the ink cartridges official ones tooContacted customer services numerous times, each time explaining the issue over and over again, got told an engineer would come out and guess what never happenedI will NEVER buy a epson product again, total waste of money and diabolical customer service
You show your appreciation to a company by purchasing one of its products in my case WF2910 ... which is suppled with ink which curiosly ran out very quickly so I purchased some compatible cartridges and now have unclearable messages telling me I'm not using genuine Epson Ink ... the cartridges are incorrectly fitted ... and others ... the machine is locked up and unusuable. Why should I be held to ransom and have to purchase Epson ink. Imagine if car manufacturers said you must only use their petrol now that would be a thing wouldn't it!! I think it's downright dishonest and have put the pressure on to the supplier stating that the item was unusable because of a fault within the machine which was there at the time of purchase and it is their problem to correct. Overall it's just disgraceful that companies such as this have to resort to these type of tactics. It should be my choice where I purchase the ink for my printer. It's just pure GREED
Don't purchase anything from Epson as they have no interest in creating sustainable products which either support the environment or add social value to the communities within which they operate.Devices are "throw away" and the ink cartridges you purchase through the Ready Print do not transfer to replacement printer.
After reading other reviews, I was dreading calling Epson Customer Service but I was pleasantly surprised. Emailed a 'fix' whilst on first call, went through steps (did not work). Called again and with no quibble they are sending a replacement within 2 working days. Just for info ET 2810 went into 'recovery mode' after WiFi change and stopped working.
Shima was very rude and unhelpful and kept telling me to look for something that was not there, giving me wrong information but was very pushy and rude, customer service respect was 0% this is what happens when you get customer service in Egypt, she refused to put me through to a manager or someone else, in the end, I had to explain that she had me looking for something that wasn't their and making me feel like I'm an idiot when the Epson scan 2 is downloaded as numbers, she had no patience, she was awful women, hope the managers see this review and how she refused to put me through to someone else that I must only speak with her, shocking, also today spoke with robin, Amir, still no working printer and why are these people in Egypt so dam rude. they must really hate us Westerners, yet the UK business continues to give work overseas to people who hate us, a bit like what the government are doing in this country, allowing these people to come to the UK with hate towards the Westerner
What shocking service from Epson.My printer was upgraded from a HP to an Epson ECOTANK with a cash back offer attached.They make it near on impossible to claim the cash back by using the excuse that the proof of purchase is not good enough.Well i would have thought if it was a new printer had just been registered and a copy of the invoice for the printer was sent , what else is there to provide. its all a scam. Had I seen these reviews before I ordered I would have gone back to HP.
DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM EPSONCUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAPI have just been in contact with your representative in Egypt , Robin, I purchased the printer which she was post to have six months free ink, last month I will charge £15 and told to upgrade it so I’ve gone over my pages, I upgraded to the 300 page one and was told that I wouldn’t go over this month, but I will was not told that the free trials promotion good and if I upgraded, it’s terrible service from you and he has cost me £50 so far to print about 200 pages I’ll be grateful if you could take this printer back and refund my £50 I spent and the printer back
Have been trying to use an Epson ET-8550 for a couple of years. Absolute rubbish. The worst printer I’ve had in 40 years of printing. Unless I use it more or less daily the ink heads clog up. Wish I’d seen all of these negative reviews before I bought it. Will never again purchase Epson.
Bought an Epson ET-8550. Had a few issues from the word go. Reached out to customer service and got cut off. Picked it back up again a few months later as no better. Used the chat support. Had my issue escalated and an amazing person called JEAN made multiple attempts within 24 hours to call me and help solve the problem. Judged the issue on the facts and merits and solved my issues with warranty replacement solved within 36 hours! Back up and printing with all problems solved!Jean gets 5 stars, Epson lost 1 star for it breaking in the first place, but they sorted it!
