Review Time
A parking charge was issued late at night when the shops on the site were closed, making it impossible to comply with the stated parking terms. Despite explaining this clearly in my appeal, the appeal was rejected with what appeared to be a standard, automated response, with no genuine consideration of the circumstances.Customer service was extremely poor. The company advertises customer support, but in reality there is no live chat, calls are cut off, and there is no way to escalate issues to a manager or senior staff member. This gives the impression of a system designed to discourage motorists from challenging charges.I ultimately paid the charge to avoid further stress, but the process felt unfair, opaque, and unreasonable. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to be very careful when parking at sites managed by this company, especially outside normal business hours. This review is posted to inform other motorists of my experience and the lack of meaningful customer support.
I wouldn’t even give this company one star … disgusting … my father is frail it was icy and I don’t live in the area my father has since passed away and they stated the charge is to ensure the car park is available for its customers which I was actually going to use but my father needed to get home he was admitted to hospital not long after this which was also his birthday. Also the car park was totally free no other spaces where used in the time frame .. a lack of empathy to his situation and all about lining there own pockets … horrendous ..
Illegal company I left a review 2 days ago after sending in several emails and numerous phone calls and getting nowhere. Apparently, my review doesn't show the actual company's procedures. The company has illegally placed cameras on my property and is refusing to do anything about it. They haven't replied to any emails, and when I call them, they just hang up. They replied to my review, asking to use the live chat, which doesn't work. If you are going to reply to my review, at least make sure you know what you are saying. absolute joke of a company that doesn't know its own procedures, has the worst customer service, and is just highly illegal.
Jesus Christ this company is beyond illegal in everything they do they make it impossible to contact every avenue is closed down for you , cases opened and then closed without answering a question or query you have , supposed helplines on there website do not offer support only demand payment .. the copy and paste message they put in reply on this website referred you to there chat bot but immediately ends th chat so you go round and round in circles all I’m trying to do is pay the reduced rate which should still be available to me as it’s frozen during appeal process… these absolute cowboys need locking up for what they do to people
⭐ 0 star – Predatory and unreasonableIssuing a £60 parking charge for 2.49 minutes is utterly absurd and clearly predatory. The vehicle did not park, no space was used, and the time recorded is well within any reasonable consideration or grace period that motorists are entitled to while reading signage and deciding whether to stay. This is a textbook example of ANPR abuse — automated cameras issuing charges with zero human judgment, zero common sense, and zero fairness. No genuine loss was caused, yet an extortionate demand was sent out regardless.Practices like this do nothing but damage public trust and confirm exactly why private parking companies have such a poor reputation. If this is how customers are treated — penalised for being on site for less than three minutes — then this is not parking management, it is revenue farming.I will be contesting this charge fully and would strongly advise others to do the same. Businesses that allow this operator on their land should seriously reconsider, as this behaviour actively drives customers away.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Euro Parking Services.I tried several times to contact them to resolve a parking charge. After sending one email, their system would not allow me to send any further emails. I then called them and was told by their staff that their email address was not working and that I should send my appeal by post instead. As advised, I went to the Post Office, printed my letter, and sent it by post. I have proof of posting. Despite this, instead of contacting me or reviewing my appeal, they simply sent me another ticket saying I now owe £100.I then tried again to contact them by email, but the email address still does not work. Their phone number is also very difficult to reach and often does not work. I am a disabled person and have serious medical issues, which I clearly explained in my letter, but this has been completely ignored. This company makes it extremely hard for people to contact them, and instead of resolving issues fairly, they just keep sending payment demands. It feels like they waste people’s time and create stress rather than offering any proper customer service.I would strongly advise others to be very careful when dealing with this company.
To echo the last review on this company, it feels like a money making rip off preying on unsuspecting motorists. You may appeal, but to no avail – it doesn’t suit their purposes. They will ignore any legitimate grounds you may have and keep stating their T&Cs no matter what. The appeal response also fell into my junk mail and I was lucky to find it on time.We had stopped briefly on a high street pavement outside a small food store at 11 pm. I stayed in the car while my partner went to collect a takeaway nearby. The store is long closed at 11 pm, but the stated reason for unsuccessful appeal still is ‘parking for patrons only while on the premises’… The sign with threat of fine is also in very small print and very hard to spot and read in the dark. We did not see it… For any company / business wishing to entrust EPS with their parking services, their practices will dissuade customers from using your shop/services. I would now be careful not to park anywhere where EPS is in operation.
Beware this company needs investigating. Their practises are far from transparent. The carpark on Albert Street, Lockwood Huddersfield is not clearly distinguished from the Council run carpark.Consequently a visit to pick up medication led to £100 fine. This was because you are led to believe that you can appeal BUT beware unlike legitimate businesses your fine is not paused until the process has been exhausted. It goes up! The ‘ Independent Appeals Service’ is party to this BUT they clearly state when you appeal that if you pay your PCN you can’t appeal, makes sense? Euro Parking Services are the most unscrupulous company around. If you call them you get charged ! If you email you’re lucky if you get a reply and they choose which emails to reply to. As an example there was no reply to me asking if the fine is paused while I appeal. However they replied to my query asking what happens if I don’t pay it while I seek advise. The reply stated that the fine “might” go up to £160!!! “Might” surely evidences the lack of a code! Unfortunately their practises have now led to people not using local businesses. It would feel rubbish to get a £60 fine but if this unscrupulous business actually followed a code of practice perhaps their carparks would clearly be defined, and a fair appeals process would be in place. There has to be a way to hold this company to account. I have emailed my MP.Update 16.01.2025I received my phone bill. Do not call the company. I got charged £2.90 for just listening to options, 1 minute 43 seconds! There is no mention of call charges! ‘Chat bot’ is another scam, online but never available! All in all this company try to portray themselves as a legitimate business. They even mention supporting Charities. The last time they donated was in 2017 “ We supported the ChildReach (Mumbai, India) “ It’s crazy to think that mentioning charity somehow legitimises their ‘cash cow’ mentality!!
this company are a disgrace, they have no morals,i had a genuine reason to why I got back to my vehicle slightly over the time, had my 83 disabled mum with me whos in a wheelchair,we needed to try and find a disabled toilet which made me go over the time,I had done the right thing and displayed our disabled badges clearly,I even bought a parking ticket for a hour stay,I ended up getting a pcn ticket which got denied twice,I explained to this company that we had lost 3 members of our family in a month, they weren't even interested in listening to our concerns or showed any remorse,we have now lost our dad on the 28th december that's 4 members of our family gone in a few weeks,my mum is also in hospital poorly, now I get a final demand notice letter before court action, myself and family have been through hell, and have these leeches at euro parking services constantly harassing us,they never listen or willing to help folk, the way they treat disabled people is a disgrace, also they need to make the lettering and description bigger about disabled parking, not in small paragraph where it can go unoticed
