AVG tours of York, today 5th July. Our tour guide Nick was amazing. He was engaging, lots of stories to bring the tour alive. Would definately recommend AVG tours to anybody visiting York, saw lots of the city and learned lots of history dating back to Roman / medieval / present times.
1* feels too one too many. Everything is automated. No chance of getting any real help in real time. Signed up to an event. They repeatedly sent me reminder about the event. But when it comes to the day and I tried to log it, it said my password was incorrect. When I tried to reset password, no email came through. Tried one-time password, nothing came through either. Tried to sign up again using my email account, thinking maybe somehow my account is lost. Who knows how. I was told I can't sign up using that account because it's already existed. Tried to fill in their contact form but it won't let me proceed unless I can provide url for the event, which I can't get to because it won't bloody let me log in! I've been going around this cycle of hell for the past hour.
One star is too much.Purchased taylor swift tickets via Eventbrite. Tried speaking to them numerous times but there's not a human on their pay roll.Got to the concert with my daughter and our tickets are fake, along with many other events Brite tickets at the event. No contact from Eventbrite. They are a selling platform so they will assume no responsibility but they are responsible if your advertising tickets you need to verify them. The people working at the event itself warned customers......don't ever use eventbrite.
I have been scammed by eventbrite, these scams are happening more often online, but to my shock there is no way of claiming back your stolen money from them?! unbelievable, money is taken by them, but afterwards eventbrite are asking you to contact an 'organizer' (who is a scammer allowed to sell fake tickets on their platform & there is no way of receiving any kind of response from any of these scammers)if you pay for an event and get a ticket through from eventbrite, it doesn't mean it's legitimate. I turned up to an event and it was a scam. waste of time and money. There is no way to tell if a ticket is for a real event or not. Eventbrite as a platform should be taking action after so many reports of fraudulent sellers on their platform, but these sellers are still allowed to continue selling on eventbrite, what are they doing to check for legitimacy! Gutted and disappointed! Absolutely Appalling !
Keep getting spam from obviously fake event organisers despite having clicked on their unsubscribe link AND reported the event organiser several times via the link on the Eventbrite website. This is just a platform facilitating fraud and spam that happily looks the other way. Don't use, report to your local law enforcement if you think it will help (I'm in South Africa so it won't).
Let me log in & buy tickets. But Then, I was from Mars! I had to reset password .....jump through some more hoops.....before it let me access them & print them off. 20 minutes later...Newark Antiques fair. The Biggest antiques fair in Europe! It may have been before lock down.But...E Ticketing run by Del boy?I think he probably would have done it better IMHO.
Eventribe is a scam stay away. rogue promoters selling tickets. I bought tickets to 3 events in a month 2 of which were cancelled with no refund and the other at full capacity on arrival and 150 people outside with tickets, not allowed in and no refund received. Eventribe have no customer service, no help, its all AI bots. AWFUL and I will be reporting to ombudsman
