Placed an order, tickets not in account. Contacted them several times and received a lot of ‘flannel’ about how much they wanted to help, but I gave up in the end, as they just kept asking for more and more info! Won’t use them again or recommend them!

After spending hours navigating the confusing website and then carefully creating a beautiful landing page my account was suspended for no reason. No response from customer services other than auto generated nonsense. Will be going elsewhere

Terrible app AVOID

Terrible app. Account got suspended for no reason, tried requesting support, and received no help, so I missed my event and got no refund.

Website Blocked if you use a VPN

All traffic leaving my network goes via a VPN. However, eventbrite fires back a 403 error saying "the request could not be satisfied" and that the request was blocked when trying to access the website from my network. I confirmed using another network that it's the VPN setup the website doesn't like, so I guess I'll be using another Event site instead, there are plenty of competitors. I'm not turning off my VPN for one unimportant site. All other sites work fine for me so this is some Eventbrite config issue.

I had booked some open air cinema…

I had booked some open air cinema tickets at Michelham Priory to see One Love Bob Marley. I contacted the organiser and the Eventbrite to explain that my husband is a police officer and due to the currents riots and protests he had been called to work on the same evening as the event. I explained that I would either like a refund or the option to transfer the tickets to another event. It took days for anyone to respond and I was told neither was possible. Under the circumstances I feel this is extremely unfair as the events were out of my control. I gave both the organiser and the Evenbrite plenty of notice and feel extremely let down. I decided to leave a review and was flabbergasted by the number of negative reviews although, after this experience am now not surprised at all!!

Ridiculous overcharge on eventbrite ads

I promoted two events on eventbrite through your ads, giving them £5 per day, but within a week they've each seemingly spent over £1000 seemingly which is ridiculous. Support said the charge was from the cost of impressions, but how could Eventbrite even deliver that many impressions with a £5 budget. What is the point of having a budget if they can just charge you whatever the hell they want above that. The case is currently being investigate, I will update when if I know more and whether this is resolved. Absolutely ridiculous.

Difficult to sign up, difficult to use. Failed.

Difficult to sign up. Difficult to follow. Unreliable. I am flummoxed why organisations buy in to this software, making it difficult for their clients to join in.

Awful "support" and was signed up for something I don't want

I set up an account to do ticketing for a free event run by our small community group. I was put onto a "free trial" of the Pro plan which I didn't want. Now I can't cancel the trial and because I am seen as having a subscription I can't close the account. I have been emailing support but they are really unhelpful. They said I can't cancel the trial unless I put a payment card onto my account. I don't trust them not to take a payment without telling me so I'm not going to do that. Just really worried that I am going to end up in a situation where they sign me up for the plan I don't want then chase me for payment.

Disgusting. Providing assistance to convicted fraudster.

Disgusting. I bought tickets for an event on 21st November 2022. This event was initially to be held on 31 August 2023. This was postponed until 26 January 2024 and subsequently postponed again with no future date offered. I have repeatedly requested a refund from the organiser without satisfaction. I now wish to issue legal proceedings against the organiser and in order to do so I requested the organisers details from Eventbrite so that I can issue legal proceedings. Eventbrite are refusing to provide this information and continue to host this organiser, who has spent time in prison as a convicted fraudster.Do not use this website.

I used Eventbrite to sell tickets to our event. NEVER again! Clunky, slow, illogical layout, unhelpful support by chat only. Constant reports from ticket buyers saying they couldn't register correctly and didn't get emails sent. Consequently we didn't know how many people to expect at the event. DO NOT USE.
