why can't I choose the seats ? your 'best' automated seats may not be the best for me. the service charge is per ticket, it should be per transaction, that is so overpriced, don't see any reason why I should be paying you that.
Via an organisation that was putting on a concert I purchased two tickets. I received no acknowledgement or the tickets. I contacted the organisers who said they have been having a lot of problems with Eventbrite and I was not the first to complain. I have had to ask the organiser to ensure that my wife and I will be admitted to the concert. To make matters worse there is absolutely no way of contacting Eventbrite or even complaining to them. I warn everyone - Do not use this terrible company
Absolutely pitiful. They take a hefty cut from each sale, but have now added a £23 a month charge to have events over 25 capacity. I have had multiple customers complain that they cannot buy tickets when they follow link from my instagram to eventrbite in ios - the button to buy is not visible. There was no warning about this from eventbrite. When i contacted their support they were rude and said it is basically not their fault it is due to apple - a huge number of people who buy tickets are using ios and following ticketing links to eventbrite from instagram. There was no apology for this dire shortfall. The tone of their customer support is always unhelpful. They obviously do not care about their customers. They do not have the functionality to support hybrid events that are both in-person and online - it has to be one or the other - which for a main player in online ticketing is ridiculous. There email system was useless and often didn't send the emails. The boost system was more of the same but with an additional charge. It has literally been headache after headache using eventbrite - a painful experience.
Tried but failed to enter an event today for which I had registered. System is far to cumbersome, wasn’t initially accepting my email/password, re registered using different ema/password then constantly taken to a page telling me what Eventbrite activities were available in Gloucestershire. Really shouldn’t be this difficult one you’ve registered and received a follow up email. Joining should then be simple - not a complicated repetition activity. So frustrating and disappointing. I never did get into the conference for The Children’s Society. POOR.
I bought a ticket 3 days before the event, then turned up at the venue on the night it was due to be held, & no one was there!. They had cancelled it & failed to notify me. So that was a waste of a £20 taxi ride to say the least of it. Terrible company with zero communication skills, & they are also failing to respond to my complaint sent. There is no sign of the refund I requested either, so I had to get my bank to action a charge back against them, which was successful. Avoid this awful disloyal company!.
DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH THIS COMPANY OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. I purchased 3 tickets and a photo through these to have “an experience with Manny Pacquiao on the 20/11/2022, the event “supposedly” being held on the 4/09/2023, was “postponed” and on Eventbrites website it clearly states you must wait 90 days from when the event is postponed to request a refund. This is what I did. Eventbrite have now washed their hands of it and say “I am not eligible for a refund” the “an experience with” owner is in jail for fraud. So how do I get my hard earned money back? I have statements off PayPal and my bank saying the money was paid to Eventbrite, so you’ve had my money. Give it back, you fraudsters. If anyone else is in this position and I’ve read quite a few are. Contact “Action Fraud” online and log a report against them. Hopefully we can bring this company down then and get our money back.
DO NOT book paid events through Eventbrite!I bought 2 premier outside rooms (4 people) for a special P&O crossing from Hull to Rotterdam to celebrate world harbour day 3/9/23. Arrived at Hull to be told that only one room had been booked even though the booking and payment clearly is for 2 premier outside doubles. We spent ages with the agent at Hull port while she managed to find us a basic twin for the outwards journey and a quad for the return. (our friends had the booked room). So much for the ease of not having to pack up and move rooms and paying the extra for the luxury of a double bed. I have tried twice to contact EB through their website, no response as yet. I have tried calling but the auto-operator on the phone just hangs up.I also spoke to P&O who cannot assist as the booking was through EB. All they could do was to confirm my P&O booking reference (different to the EB ref). I asked that they pass on my suggestion that the do not use EB again! The P&O operator also mentioned that they had not yet received any funds from EB nearly a month post trip!
Do not trust this company. There is no employees to speak with, no phone number and once they have your money good luck on trying to communicate with a actual person. It is computer generated responses that have nothing to do with your issue. This is not a reputable company, I don’t even know how they are still in business.
