Review Time
I bought a ticket for an event, they took my money immediately but I never received a ticket. I contacted them, but got a standard response and denial of an order from me even though I showed proof of the payment. I will never attempt to buy a ticket from them again, especially after reading other reviews on here.
Eventbrite stopped working for me two years ago. It takes my money and sends me nothing—no emails, no tickets, no joining information for the events I have booked; nor can I access my account. This problem appears in the FAQ list (so it's not just mine). I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions several times but nothing works. Even my helpful tecchie couldn't solve this. I can find no way of contacting Eventbrite in a way that will elicit a reply.I've lost connection to a number of regular events I used to enjoy online and in-real-life. Hopefully more event providers will move to other platforms, which do work for me. One star is too much for Eventbrite. For me it's bordering on a scam website.
Scammed out of my money. After really poor organisation on the part of the organisers. I was unable to attend after trying to gain entry for 2h 30. Requested a refund as my in ability to attend was based on there poor preparation. Eventbrite has no contact numbers or support lines.I would never use again
It’s so stupid that you can’t buy tickets to events or classes via the app. What is the point of having the app? You have to go through the website so weird and pointless. You also can’t search properly for events, it’s all location based. You also can’t see all the events from the organisers you follow. Your page is just full of random recommendations. There is also no protection against mistakes or cancellations. Good luck ever getting your money back for anything. All these reviews of the company and it’s shocking there hasn't been any improvement.
Following the "Purchase Ticket" tab on bristolmodelrailex.uk. I purchased a ticket for the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition, 2024. This went via Eventbite, who happily relieved me of £12. For my money I got an email confirming my e-tickets were ready and saying that I had been sent a second email telling me how to access my tickets. Guess what. No second email and no method of contact or way to get my ticket or a refund. Excellent at taking money, rubbish at delivering.

Legal action is to start to recover my monies and all costs.USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN PERIL!
Eventbrite could put their focus on the user journey and be so much better. Lack of communication, signposting or important context means the UX is cumbersome. I also disrespect companies that abandoned their Twitter/X account as this was a great way get quick help. Confirmation emails are all about Eventbrite and not about their customer experience. There is a distracting button, which sends you off through login to download a PDF of your ticket, when the first action most people will want to take is to add the event to their calendar. Therefore the ticket information, which appears lower down in the email ought to be signposted or appear at the top. So "scroll down for event information and add to calendar" would be useful. Or put ticket information and add to calendar at the top of the confirmation email and then add context "to download a PDF of your ticket click below". The current lack of communication was stressful, disorientating and wasted my time searching on Google and Youtube for how to add an eventbrite ticket to my calendar. It was right there in the email but absolutely no directions to it. Communication is free. Eventbrite need to consider their UX and signpost us!
