I went today (11/14/24) to the Montgomery HWY location. John V (Hoodtech) was amazing! Super friendly, positive, & polite. He helped me have ease with some things that were wrong with my car. Usually this location is wonderful. It is my chosen place for oil changes and tires. Today not so much. I had a flat tire so I went there to have it checked. I was the only customer there. A guy came SLOWLY meandering out of the oil changes section and stopped at my truck and just stared at me. Did not say a word. I described my situation and that I needed my tire checked for a nail etc. He looked at my tire looked at me and then, without saying a word, slowly meandered into the office. About five minutes later came out and said it will be about an hour before we can look at your tire. I said ok. Can you at least put air in it. Again, without saying a word, be backed up and directed me into the oil changes section bay and filled up one tire. Not all 4, so it would be even. Didnt say anything else, just directed me out of the bay and walked away. I was planning to get two new tires and an oil change from them today but because of his lack of interest and poor customer service skills, I just left.
I called Express because my car de4aler was 2 weeks out on oil change. Man was i glad to find these guys. The momager was wearing several hats and was super helpful. He showed me where my air filter had not ben changed since 2019! We had paid dealer to change it! In any case the oil was better and the two filters came in less than the oil change at dealer and much faster. We will be back!!
