Eyeglasses Depot, the store in Brooklyn New York, is the only place I trust to repair my favorite glasses. I own several prescription eyeglasses, some of which I've had for over a decade because I like them so much. I have also purchased glasses from Eyeglasses Depot and it was an equally great experience. They always do things right.
So far, this company has been top notch. They immediately responded to my email saying the prepaid postage label was not attached to the confirmation email. when I say immediate, we are talking about 60 seconds. If the rest of the transaction goes like this, I will be very pleased. I will keep this review updated.

The facts are as follows:1) Prescription COSTA sunglasses sent in based upon a $20-$30 estimate to replace the nosepiece.2) After receipt of the glasses, the vendor returned a $129 estimate, which I interpreted as a "bait and switch" effort.3) I requested that they return the glasses as-is.4) They arrived poorly packed and both lenses were popped out of the frame.5) I expressed my displeasure, and the vendor negotiated a middle-ground, sending me a replacement frame face for a nominal fee.6) The replacement works fine, but is obviously not new, as it has several scratches. That is not a problem to me, as this is an older pair of glasses.The bottom line is that I'm happy with the result, although it was not a smooth transaction.
