i love this site!!, at first it was a lot of information to start with, it can be a little overwhelming, but once you get started this site will become very easy to use, and i love the prices that they have on all of their items, and the best part is that they have a very small layaway deposit.
This is a wrong rating percentage. They file their own good reviews to offset the bad ones. They are a scam. If you fill out their online form - which does not constitute a contract - they try to harass you into sending in your glasses even if you decide not to do business with them after investigating them. If you don't send your glasses in, they will harass you to pay a fee for the mailing label that costs them nothing and a "cancellation" fee. Check out their ratty storefront on Google Maps. Google "Has online's biggest bully returned?" for the May 2, 2021 New York Times article about the convicted criminal who runs this business.

This place is a scam. A two year old could have done a better job repairing my glasses. Now my glasses are beyond repair and they want to charge me more money to fix them. I wish I would have come across this site before I used this company. I understand they are being investigated for false positive reviews. They still have my glasses and have not resolved this issue but still want to charge me $180.
EyeglassesDepot in Brooklyn NY said what they'd do to repair my shades and how much it would cost. I got my sunglasses repaired and returned as promised. Wish the cost wasn't as high but I am fond of these glasses. -Satisfied customer
I sent in my sunglasses for frame repair and got back a fair estimate. They told me they could fix the frame and would also clean and polish them and send a new eyeglass case for $130.They sent my glasses back to me with no repair made , no cleaning or polishing and no case. When I said I wanted my money back, they said that I could return them for repair, etc. they also said that they do not give money back on repair orders.I returned my glasses for the repair again and got them back again with no repair and one of the emblems turned upside down, they want me to send them back again! I won’t send them back. I am writing this review instead.Don’t use this business. They are a rip off and scammer.

EyeglassesDepot.com started in 2007 as a new department of our retail designer eyeglasses and sunglasses business. Quickly we realized that our customers not only shop for new prescription lenses and new frames, they also ask us the popular question "Can this be fixed?". Tired of telling customers NO, we decided to explore the idea of repair rather then replacement. In late 2007 we remodeled the second floor of our office and hired the staff that today runs our laboratory. Our two lab technicians have combined over 17 years of expert experience in the field of optometry, eyewear repair and eyewear sales.See more
