Every time I renewed my car insurance with Farmers, the premium went up for no reason. I’ve never had an accident, drive less than 10k miles a year, and now they’re charging me over $1,700 for 6 months! I switched to Costco and got the exact same coverage for $936. What a shit rip off company
Review of Flood Insurance Cancellation ExperienceI’m a small business owner—not a millionaire—and every dollar counts. On July 23, 2025, I paid $887 for flood insurance that was supposed to refund $590 after cancellation. I requested a cancellation a month ago, expecting a fair refund. Instead, I received a check for only $509.That’s a $378 loss for absolutely nothing. No coverage used, no explanation provided, and no accountability. The SBA requires flood insurance documentation for my business, and this situation has added unnecessary stress and financial strain.I’m disappointed by the lack of transparency and fairness in this process. Small businesses deserve better—especially when we’re trying to stay compliant and afloat.
After over 20 years with this company,My mom was totally being ripped off by Farmers insurance. An elderly lady on unlimited income, was being taken advantage of by this terrible company.We made one phone call to another competitor and cut her auto insurance in half.David Habeeb was dishonest. I contacted the call center after receiving a quote online. The gentleman I spoke to was rude, made me feel inferior and gave me completely wrong informaiton. Basically told me he couldn't insure my house. I then spoke to another local agent at Farmers who was very helpful and provided me with necessary direction but the call line is the face of your company - don't put complete idiots on the line. The person I spoke to really could not care less about finding a solution and/or about selling insurance. They were more interested in judging me, my accent and my decisions in regards to buying property. Truly despicable. I went to another company instead- so a customer lost thanks to this moron.
Absolutely an awful insurance company. I've had claims in the past from car accidents to hurricanes and the insurance company always did their part but not Farmers Insurance,they don't even show up and only give a run around.I would not want anyone to go through what I had to deal with which is still an ongoing nightmare. AVOID FARMERS INSURANCE AT ANY COST
