The software is incredible as most of you know. What really set it apart for me was the customer service. As someone new to making and editing videos, I had trouble setting things up and navigating what I needed. When I contacted the customer service they helped me resolve my issue quickly and gave me the tools necessary to be successful. I can’t recommend Wondershare enough. The customer service set them apart for me.
Using the software for about a year now with no real issues. Encountered a bit of an upgrade problem after a computer change. Software performed as required but the program no longer received and installed any new software upgrades. Contacted customer support and was provided with a new download link with a newer software version. After installing the upgraded version automatic updates are being received and installed again. Thank You from KassDays for the support and quick resolution.
I’ve used Filmora since before it was called Filmora. I’ve been amazed by the improvements in the program over the years. Recently I’ve used the chat function to resolve questions or issues I’ve had. They will first direct you to the chat bot if your question can be answered that way. If not you can choose to chat with a live person. I really like the fact I can use the built in feature in Filmora which allows me to do a screen recording so I can show the keystrokes that led to my issue. On some of my questions they directed me to the correct way and on other questions they escalated my question and video to the development team so the problem could be resolved in the next release. The company seems very responsive to customer input. Over the years I’ve made several suggestions that have been incorporated into Filmora. One of these suggestions was the ability to type a location into the frame counter, that would then jump the playhead to that exact location. I give the company 5 stars for their product and the service I’ve received. They could be a little bit better in explaining new features. I spend a lot of time answering questions in various Facebook user groups. Mostly the frustration I see there is users are not clear on how to customize the program to their computer. The users seem more willing to blame Filmora rather than their own equipment. As new performance have been added to Filmora to take advantage in new hardware, older less capable computers will lag or crash. But the good thing is Wondershare has kept the program fully compatible with older computers. I’ve seen a number of the suggestions I’ve recommended to other users to keep the program compatible with older machines built into the installation of the program, like automatically testing the computer’s hardware so the installation is optimized for that specific machine. There are still workflows which can be done on machine with less memory to manage the making of a long or complicated project. Luckily Wondershare includes these tools in their program.
